"20 minutes to the ski area, Hotel was very nice however sound insulation between rooms was not that good, you could here everything especially the other showers. Breakfast was good, it had warm up items but was not actually a "hot" breakfast."

"It’s a great little place to stay at very reasonable price. It also have a fantastic little breakfast too and very good staff. I stay there anytime I come through the area."

"We had high hopes for our stay at the Salida Inn and Monarch Suites, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas. Breakfast: Described as complimentary breakfast, but “breakfast” is a generous term. The spread consisted of prepackaged muffins, toast, bagels, cold cereal, and the only fruit available was apples. Don’t expect anything fresh, hot, or varied. If a real morning meal matters to you, plan to eat elsewhere. Hot Tub: This was a significant disappointment. The hot tub was out of order during our entire stay — something that was never mentioned anywhere on the website or in our booking details. We specifically looked forward to this amenity. Guests deserve to know about this before booking, not after arriving. Room Condition: The bathroom tub had visible stains and was dirty in spots, which is simply unacceptable at any price point. The carpet throughout the room was noticeably worn and dingy — not the kind of tired that comes from heavy use alone, but the kind that suggests it’s well overdue for replacement. Bottom Line: The property may be conveniently located, but the condition of the rooms and the lack of transparency about out-of-service amenities make it hard to recommend. For the rate charged, guests should reasonably expect a clean bathroom and honest disclosure about what’s actually available. We won’t be returning until there are meaningful improvements made."

"Great space very chill and easy "

"I love staying here. I was at a workshop so went into sleep and got up in the morning. It was quiet. The coffee area was well stocked. The Guest prior to Me had unplugged the gas fireplace which heats the room. I did not know what was wrong with it.It was promptly addressed when I let them know. My only suggestion is that if you like decaf tea or decaf coffee in the evening, that was not available. Unless they decide to take my suggestion, bring your own teabag or coffee pod for the Keurig. I’m definitely staying here again. I loved it, and the proximity to downtown Salida was a two minute drive. I walked the river walk every morning at 7 AM. It’s gorgeous and I recommend it."
