The bed was the only thing clean. Even at the price I paid, I think it should've even been more reduced. The sink puts out yellow water at first. The shower and toilet were in rough shape. My door was hard to open. I had to fight to push it against the elevated carpet every-time.

Unsafe, Filthy, and Neglected – A Nightmare Stay I recently stayed at the Weaste Hotel in Salford, and it was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We only stayed because every other hotel in the area was full or over £200; had there been any other option, we would have left immediately. The room was in a disgusting and hazardous state: • Filth & Biohazards: The room stank of stale smoke, the carpets were stained on every inch, and the place was thick with dust. Most revoltingly, the bathroom cupboard contained used cotton buds and a used pregnancy test from a previous guest. The sink was also blocked with used cigarette butts. • Safety Hazards: A light fitting had been ripped off the wall. Most alarmingly, scalding hot water comes out of the system when you flush the toilet, which is a genuine burn risk. • Zero Privacy: There were no curtains, and the blind was broken and couldn't be closed. We felt so unsafe and dirty that we had to go to the shop next door to buy our own cleaning supplies just to make the room somewhat usable. We didn't even dare get under the covers and spent the night sleeping on top of the bed sheets. Management should be ashamed to charge money for a room in this condition. It is unsanitary, poorly maintained, and a total health hazard. Avoid at all costs.

Difficult to understand receptionist when instructions been given. Room was reasonable need some repairs/ upgrades. Bathroom / shower room not very inviting. Blind was fraying. Carpet looked tired.

The room was extremely disappointing. There was a very bad smell as soon as I walked in, and the pillow was tiny and completely uncomfortable. The bathroom was also dirty and had a terrible smell. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay and I would not recommend this place at all.

First of all went into the hotel. The bloke on reception didn’t know what day of week it was so slow and uncoordinated /went to find my room ended up walking around hotel try find my room number - room I was in was behind a fire exit door! Got into my room and the mould what was in the bathroom it shouldn’t even be open to public! The bathroom was bodged up like mad! Stains on the toilet seat let in the toilet and not flushed! Photos to a show it was just horrible. Heating didn’t work in the room. I went down stairs get something from my car to the reception guy arguing with a young lad who’s staying in the hotel with his mrs it was so unprofessional! Doesn’t seven deserve one star

Hotel is closed. Derelict building, windows covered, gate padlocked shut. Don't book it - it's no longer operating.

Unfortunately it was a very poor experience. My room was very dirty like it hasnt been cleaned for weeks if not months. Bedding had some sort of dry bugs shells asked to change at least the bedding but the new staff person changed us to a diffeeent room which not only was as dirty as the first room as it had a massive whole in the wall with weird messages written on the wall. Mattresses did not have a single spring working. Radiators was not working on both rooms. The hotel smell also not best. Ive stayed in many 3rd world really cheap hotels but this is by far my worse experience in my life. I do not recommend. It was really cheap but its a cheap that definitely is not worth it.
