Salabrone Falls

went with friends, reception staff were very helpful, we kept our bags after check out due to having a later flight and they were accommodating to this. good location hotel, near the vatican, supermarkets, bus stops and amazing restaurants. we had a nice balcony room which was spacious and clean, also cleaned every morning which was great! shower and bathroom had an odd smell every time we’d come back to the hotel in the evening, not sure what this was due, we guessed it was something to do with the shower and drains as the water had the same smell. air con was amazing and very powerful, made sleeping during the night in the heat a lot more enjoyable and easier. breakfast was okay, very limited with a few options, but was average! city tax was originally €70 but this increased to €90, and we were told this once we arrived to the hotel, no explanation for the increase, and never paid more than €20 in city tax so this was unusual but we didn’t mind it. overall, good stay and worth it for the price
