"As far as motels go, this is a better than average one. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were ok. My only issue was with noise transfer. I had my dog with me and because you could hear everyone going in and out their rooms, slamming doors and going up and down the stairs, my dog barked a lot! I’m sure that was annoying for everyone! This is something to note if you have your dog, or are sensitive to noise. Otherwise, staff were very friendly and no other complaints. "

Upon arrival the day manager was amazing. He was able accommodate us and put me and my friend in rooms next to each other. "The cottage was very new feeling and clean and there was beach access right across the street. The place had everything we could need plus extras such as some welcome snacks. We had a great stay there with our two young kids and dog. Check in and out process was very easy and when I had a question for the hosts they were very quick to respond. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Sunshine Coast, I would definitely recommend it."

She also introduced me to "shrub" which was prepared and waiting in the fridge for us. A shrub is a simple, refreshing beverage made with a bit of flavoured balsamic and sparkling water!
