"The house lovely. We had a lovely time in the holiday home. The house offers enough space too for real relaxation. All rooms have private bathrooms with a shower. The central area has two rooms, the third room is in the tower and can be accessed separately. The house has a spacious kitchen with all amenities. Induction hob, spacious oven, microwave oven and a dishwasher. If needed, there is a washing machine in the scullery. The swimming pool is spacious and allows you to swim a few short...

"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"We stayed one evening as a stop off on our way back to the ukSweet little house. We were charged 6E for towels which were not supplied. We did have beach towels with us which I did tell the owner. We have still been charged for towels. We had to clean the house which was not clean from the previous occupants. We would have been charged 35E for a clean otherwise. We were only staying from 7pm until 9am and out all evening enjoying the town. I did resent cleaning two toilets they were not as clean...

"What an incredible property! We have stayed in many great gites over the years but this one tops the lot. You have total privacy in the gite with a private pool, terrace and gardens coupled with an inside space that gives family and friends privacy and social spaces as required. The gite is very well appointed with aircon throughout plus ceiling fans in the bedrooms. "We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. "The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

"We had an excellent two-week stay in this lovely traditional gîte. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. The hosts, Pascal and Sabine, were wonderful and very welcoming. Our 10-year-old son really enjoyed the pool area. There was plenty to do and see in the area. We would definitely recommend it."

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
