「We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

Fijne ontvangst; de houtkachel brandde zelfs bij binnenkomst; Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en is centraal gelegen op korte afstand van alle voorzieningen. In de omgeving is veel te zien. Een week was eigenlijk te kort! De huiselijke sfeer maakte alles compleet!」

「Our group of 4 stayed here during the Normandy part of our France trip and it worked out very nicely. The hosts were very kind and helpful, the place was quite spacious and met our needs very well. It was chilly while we were there, so didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it was available. Groceries and restaurants were a short drive away. Very convenient to all the D-Day locations.」

「We are 4 adults with 1 disabled adult . This is a great accessible cottage . Swimming pool is a bonus 👌 Would recommend for all including familys Well equipped, everything you need . Perfectly located next to the British DDay memorial. Would definatly stay again .」

「The house was very beautiful and well equipped (a baby chair would be the only possible improvement). The beach is near, but Caen as a larger city is also in reach. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful for finding activities and places to visit in the area (speaks English as well as French!). Definitly a place where we would like to stay again, if we were to return to the region near Caen!」

「Le cottage est parfait à 2 pas des piscines et de la plage. La literie est de bonne qualité, le logement fonctionnel et le petit extérieur très appréciable. Il aurait besoin toutefois d'un petit rafraîchissement」

「This was our second visit to this property, the first after lockdown. As always we had a great and relaxing stay in one of the well appointed gites. This area of Normandy has so much to see and do and the frendliness and hospitality of Jean-Pierre (the owner) goes above and beyond. We will be back !」

「Een geweldig huis. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Contact met de eigenaar was top. Je hebt wel een auto nodig, want je verblijft in een klein dorp. In het huis zijn trappen aanwezig, maar voor mijn moeder van 85 jaar was dat geen probleem. Er zijn slaapkamers op de 1e verdieping , welke bereikbaar zijn met een smalle wenteltrap. Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. We hebben er verbleven met familie.」

「ce gite est idéalement positionné pour faire le tour des plages du débarquement (c'était notre cas ..). accueil chaleureux, gite coquet, confortable et parfaitement équipé et décoré au milieu d'une magnifique propriété. Il n'est peut être pas très grand mais suffisant pour 2 ou 3 personnes et très douillet!!.. une excellente adresse, n'hésitez pas !!」
