This is an outstanding property with very kind and friendly hosts, Véronique and Daniel.
Bellevue is a joy to stay at as it is extremely well equipped and offers a view that is "out of this world". The local town of Sainte Eulalie d'Olt is interesting with great shops and has a must-visit market on Saturdays. Further afield there are many little villages to explore.
Thank-you Véronique and Daniel for letting us stay at your idealic piece of France.
We had a lovely stay at the gite. The first days were a bit rainy, but we enjoyed the garage with ping-pong and all the games. The last three days were sunny and then the house is at its best. The wonderful views, the swimming pool (although bit chilly :-)) and all the facilities. We would highly recommend the house.
Only suggestion is that for ten people there are not many “couches” /enough sitting places at the living area. But thats all!
We had the most fantastic week at Véronique’s house. She and her husband were so helpful and attentive and the house was just perfect. Such high quality and it literally had everything - enough bikes and helmets for 2 families of 5! A table tennis table, table football, swimming pool with such amazing views and trampoline/play area. Not to mention the new BBQ and lovely kitchen. All maintained to such a high standard. We wish we could have stayed there longer and definitely look forward to returning next year!!! The area was lovely too - beautiful villages and not far from the national park and gorges where we had a brilliant day canoeing. Thank you so much for letting us stay!
We were taken by the pictures of the villa and its location. And both exceeded our hopes and expectations. To add to this Veronique is a timely communicator as she answered questions we had, leading up to our arrival, quickly and informatively. Veronique and Daniel are fantastic hosts and went beyond what one would normally expect of a host and for that we are very grateful. Bellevue as a holiday accommodation excels - it is a labour of love - the development of the villa is documented and so one can appreciate their vision, planning and execution into what Bellevue is today. The location is sublime - one is seduced by the vista of a forever changing landscape of colours, shapes and light. The surrounding region is wholesale and very French - we were just out of the summer season and yet all tourists were primarily French. The abundance of regional parks and reserves means that you are not short of walking, cycling, canoeing, paragliding etc. And on inclement days the Bellevue ‘barn’ allows you to hone your ping pong and table football skills! I am nervous talking up Bellevue and its location because I want to keep it a secret - that said, Veronique and Daniel would never forgive me - it should be shared!!!
Wow — what an unforgettable stay! This holiday home in France is absolute luxury in every sense. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thought through with care and style. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we could possibly need. The pool was just perfect for lazy sunny days and evening, and the views… honestly, breathtaking. What made our stay extra special were our wonderful hosts, Veronique, Daniel, and their lovely daughter. They greeted us like old friends, surprised us with thoughtful gifts, and were always on hand to help with anything — all with warmth and kindness that made us feel right at home. This place is a gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and truly memorable stay in France — this is it!
Overall, an excellent property. Great location for a great family holiday. Would thoroughly recommend.

Exceptional villa, location and facilities
A really outstanding holiday villa. We were very well looked after. Amazing villa and pool. Extremely well kitted out. Beautiful town, villages, swimming within walking distance.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Everything was just perfect and Veronique gave a perfect guidance all week when needed.
We were blown away by the beautiful view and the charming countryside.
We definitely consider coming back again.
We had a wonderful holiday at Bellevue. Everything you could possibly need was catered for and the property and location is stunning. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Daniel & Veronique, who were always on hand for any advice or help. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return ourselves in the future. A truly magical holiday in an equally magical setting.
This was our second visit to this property and we decided to stay for 3 weeks - such is the beautiful location and the high quality of the accommodation. There really was nothing extra we needed to enjoy our thoroughly relaxing time. Véronique and Daniel (plus their daughters) were fantastic, friendly hosts. We will certainly return.
There are two features of this property that make it exceptional - the location with fabulous views and the extremely high quality of the fixtures and fittings. Everything you could possibly want from a rental property can be found here and it is a big credit to the friendly hosts, Véronique and Daniel.
We have been coming to France for a great many years and this is, by far, the best property we have stayed in and look forward to returning soon.
We have just returned from the most amazing week at Gite Bellevue!
The view is simply outstanding and is even better in real life. There are so many facilities at the property and with the ages in our group ranging from 2 to 72, there was something for everyone. We made good use of the swimming pool and also the bikes (helmets and locks also provided). The children also loved the “disco toilet”.
Daniel and Veronique were lovely and welcomed us to the property, giving us a full tour and explaining appliances etc. Any questions we had, we just messaged them and they came back to us almost immediately.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house, and would absolutely love to return.
We have just returned from one of the most relaxing holidays in this fabulous house. Well appointed on a hillside with fabulous views and plenty of space, very well equipped, we wanted for nothing. We were 2 families with 4 children aged 9 to 16, there was plenty for them to do from spending time in the pool, football in the garden or table tennis in the cool garage. There were bikes available to use as well (although it was too hot for us!). Very close to the house are the villages of Sainte Geniez-d’Olt and Sainte Eulalie-d’Olt, the former housing some wonderful restaurants and little shops, the latter a beautiful medieval village with artisan shops and also places to eat. Both places are on the river Lot with walks and views aplenty. We hired a boat in Sainte Eulalie-d’Olt and spent 3 lovely hours on the river with the children enjoying a swim. Overall a fabulous and relaxing holiday, we would not hesitate to return.

One of the most beautiful views in France
Nothing can prepare you for the most beautiful views , the pictures don't do it justice.
There is everything you could want in a holiday home and it is all of the highest quality.
Ice maker, coffee machine, wine cooler, steam oven, washing machine, satellite TV, beautiful showers, the pool, games room, bikes and did I mention the view.
The surrounding villages and town are listed as some of the most beautiful in France and have a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafes. The supermarket is literally 2 minutes away and in 3 minutes you can be picking up fresh bread and croissants from the town.
Rodez is the nearest major town and well worth a visit for the old town and big supermarkets. We came for some cycling which was challenge with three or four of the roads leaving the town beginning with climbs of 10K + but the ride home was a breeze.
In our week we didn't scratch the surface of what the area has to offer so will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate in staying at Belle Vue again. The house is credit to the owners Daniel and Veronique . If you are driving from the UK it's 9 hours from Calais but well worth the effort. Book early to avoid disappointment. 5 STARS +++++

Simply a wonderful house in a beautiful setting
Having rented numerous villas in France without doubt Bellevue D’Aveyron well deserves its 5 star rating.
The open plan kitchen has every modern appliance you need to make alfresco eating a joy. The living area bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed and with a ground floor bedroom and wet room, the gentle slopes to pool, electric entrance gates make the house ideal for anyone with mobility concerns. Daniel and Véronique ensure that everything a family or just a couple needs is on-site.
Val and I can definitely recommend breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace overlooking the pool. Watching the early morning mist slowly shrink to reveal great views of the valley below and the evening shadows making their gradual advance of across the hills and mountains that surround the valley were the perfect ways to start and end each day.
The upper Lot is truly an unspoilt area of France is full of delightful sites within a 30 mile radius of St Geniez d’Olt. The scenery varies from deep verdant valleys cut by clear running rivers and streams, delightful unspoilt villages, to the Aubrac with its panoramic vistas of vast open moorland basking in bright sunshine fanned by cooling breezes scented by alpine meadows and all set under azure blue skies.
Whether you wish to spend time around the pool or venture out to explore, Bellevue D’Aveyron is simply a wonderful house in a beautiful setting both difficult to better.

Very Posh
7 of us spent 11 days at La Bellevue. We felt very special being allowed to enjoy the lovely restored home. Original on the outside, modern on the inside.
We were met by Daniel and Véronique upon our arrival. Their cheery dispositions made us feel at ease. While Daniel's English was limited Véronique was quite fluent. They gave us a detailed tour which took a while due to the many features of the house. The coffee machine alone needed 5 minutes to learn how to operate.(we learned how to make cappuccinos on the last day!)
The house is situated on a hill overlooking two 13 C. villages. Cows and horses were our neighbours. The name Bellevue was chosen I am sure for the lovely views.
There is a beautiful pool which saw little use by us as we were a bit early in the season.
While the location is remote there is lots to see and do once you are there. Boulangeries abound and the local butcher had wonderful meats. We went to several markets and visited many local sights. We all loved it.
Perhaps the best part was the lovely welcome gifts given to us upon our arrival; local wine, pastries, chocolate and local information.
We had a problem with the wifi and after a call to Véronique she drove 40 km to solve it for us. Now that is customer service!
We would have loved to share this with our family. Un aútre fois!

Beautiful house in stunning location with everything you could need & lovely owners
We were 2 families with young children and a couple and this house suited us perfectly.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Veronique who showed us around and explained how everything worked.
We were provided with a lovely welcome hamper of local cake, beer, jams and lemonade and Veronique told us we were free to help ourselves to coffee, seasonings etc in the cupboards and any cleaning and laundry products we needed.
The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and was spotlessly clean.
My husband and I had a bedroom upstairs with a small adjoining childrens twin room which was perfect for our toddler and 3 year old. Our room also had a walk in shower and basin behind the bed.
There is a vast array of childrens toys, including inflatables and swimming aids for the pool, French board games, puzzles and books as well as plenty for the garden.
They even supplied a range of bikes in different sizes with safety helmets!
The ping-pong and foosball tables went down well with adults and children alike!
Our only slight disappointment was that the pool wasn't warm enough for most of us to use. It was October though and Daniel and Veronique even came to the house to increase the temperature but unfortunately it wasn't quite warm enough for bobbing around in at this time of year.
The kitchen is very high spec with top end appliances and good quality crockery and glasses. They even have a vacuum cleaner built into the walls!
The owners went out of their way to provide everything we could need for the babies and still asked us if there was anything else we needed. They are a really lovely couple.
The only thing we actually needed to take were pool towels.
As has been mentioned previously, the thing that stands out most about this house is the stunning views.
Every window and door you look out of has beautiful views of the mountains or the valley and early in the morning when the sun is rising and the fog is lifting they are quite breath-taking!
We didn't venture far while staying here as there is so much to keep you occupied. The 2 local towns are very old and pretty - quite quirky so worth a walk around. The local supermarket provides a good selection of food, drinks and the usual household goods. There is nothing open past 7pm though so make sure you take some food and drinks with you if you're arriving late.
We loved our stay here and hope we are lucky enough to go back soon.
Had a wonderful stay despite the bad weather. The house is large enough to accommodate 4 small children and 5 adults. The garage with games is great too. The house is luxurious and fully equipped, fully equipped. Owners are very nice, respond quickly to questions and think along with you.
