"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

Not far to the coast and an hour drive from La Rochelle and Bordeaux with lots of beautiful Vineyards to visit in between, and a 10 minute drive to Saintes with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as good shopping. Brilliant and welcoming hosts with cute dogs, will miss breakfast and coffee by the pool in the mornings."

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"The studio of Alaine and Isobelle was ideal for my wife and myself they were very friendly and helpful. The village was situated well with a Coop, boulanger and a bar tabac who's owners were very pleasant and helpful and it was close to Royan and the place's we wanted to visit."

"Beautiful location suited our needs. Think the place could have been a little cleaner, think the previous holiday makers had left it thus. Bedding and towels clean and beds comfy although bedrooms were hot and couldn'tleave windows open because of mosquitos, only one window upstairs had a screen. I advise taking a fan or mosquito net and plenty of bug spray. Very well equioped but a small welcome pack would have been nice. scrreenmosquito screen which fell off"
