「The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. 「The farmhouse is beautiful with stunning views. The owners were very accommodating and had thought about everything with some lovely personal touches. The children spent a lot of time in the pool. We had great weather which meant we didn’t make much use of the sitting room, which was also amazing. Worth every penny」
