A Traveller's Heaven
We were in transit heading to Milan to catch our flight home and needed somewhere to stay for only the single night - and we found a Traveller's Heaven.
Rather than be disappointed her guests were only staying one night given the preparation and clean-up that comes with each stay Aisling took the exact opposite approach.
Aisling preempted any possible way that she could be of help - Aisling provided us with all the basics to allow us to have a breakfast the next morning ("you won't have time to shop if you're in transit"), Aisling had a bottle of wine for us to relax that night and a range of suggestions on where to head for a comfortable easy dinner or where to go to catch a bit of the feel of Montreux - even where to see Freddie Mercury's statue.
What a lovely lady Aisling is, it was us that were disappointed to only be staying one night.
The next morning the clouds parted and we enjoyed the magnificent views before we departed - somehow it felt that Aisling might have had a hand in that too!!!
Many thanks for your kindness and looking after us so well. I knew from our pre-visit communication that we would be looked after and we were.
