「Clean and nicely planned room on waterfront. Its just a few rooms above a restaurant so easy to find food. I arrived by boat from Fowey which made it extra fun.」

「Had a lovely 4 night break at this hotel. Gareth & Lara were very wecoming & nothing was too much trouble for them. Great choice on menu for breakfast which was delicious. Lovely patio area overlooking countryside & view from our room overlooking the quay. Room was clean & comfortable. Free parking spaces.Would definitely recommend staying here.」

「Great pub hotel right by the harbour and coast path. Some of the rooms are a bit small but they are well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. 」

「Beautiful building and location with a gorgeous outlook, and we loved the lounge and massive dining table for relaxing. Ben was a wonderful host with lots of interesting history, not least the renovation of the property! Breakfast lush, bed comfy, if we’re in the area again we’d love to come back. 」

「The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.」

「The owners are so friendly and helpful and want you to have a special stay, they enjoy what they do. The breakfast was fantastic in choice and quality and quantity. Our room ( room 1) was very spacious, comfortable, with amazing bathroom,( needed after camping) and I would stay again. It is very rural, so good 15 minutes drive to get an evening meal , which you should book. Lots of parking. We’d stay again」
