"We had a very relaxing stay and loved the gardens and surrounding area. The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone. Communication was very good leading up to the stay - a couple of minor delays with responses when at the property but overall good. We would definitely go back "

Set in the fields by the river it had everything we needed for a stay in rural France - great kitchen, sparkling lightly heated pool, comfortable beds with high quality linen, privacy and peace and quiet and an easy walk to the charming village of Tremolat. "Lovely hotel on the edge of the town right by the river was a festival going on when we were staying lovely little town to walk around food was fantastic at the floating restaurant opposite the hotel"

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"A beautiful and well appointed cottage surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Perfect for nature lovers and those who wish to have a break from hectic city life. The cottage is tastefully furnished and had all the facilities we needed for our 16-night stay, including washing machine, ironing board and a good assortment of kitchen utensils. Alain and Martine, the owners, who occupy the adjacent house, were delightful and Alain gave us many useful tips on what to see in the area and to best restaurants to choose for a memorable lunch or dinner. "
