「Had an excellent time at La Tillaie! Beautiful, large, comfortable rooms and a very welcoming host. Olivier went out of his way to look after us and even cooked an early dinner for our toddler every evening. Merci pour tout !」

「We were driving from the UK to the south west of France and wanted somewhere to stay en route. What a wonderful surprise this place was. The house is a big, beautiful, old (really old!) property with very generous rooms and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The hosts are very welcoming and generous. Saintes - who knows why that big town is not more widely known as a tourist destination. Incredible architecture, lovely river walks, greta places to eat. And the best bit - we have 2 large excitable dogs...
