「Pointe du Hob, Omaha beach 訪問の為宿泊。 1月に訪れたのでオフシーズンで周りのレストランはほとんどやっていませんでしたが、近くにスーパーあり夜9時までやっていました。carentanという街に行けば小さい街があるとのことで車で20分ほど走りました。 部屋は普通のアパートと同じで清潔でした。 キッチンにはお鍋、フライパン、スプーン、フォーク、カップが揃っていました。快適に過ごせて満足でした！！ パーキングは敷地内だと5€、外だと無料で止められました。」

「We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. 「Fantastic position, right on the harbour, with shops (bakery, fish market, small supermarket) and good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Parking was easy right outside, but we did use the garage. Further afield there was lots to see. Bayeux is close by, while we visited Arromanches-les-Bains and Pegasus Bridge, plus the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. This was not a planned ‘D-day’ visit but it really gripped (and moved) me. 」

「My son and I stayed at the beautiful Tracy sur Mer in Bayeux France recently. It's illustration as a charming little gite describes it perfectly. The cottage was so cute and cozy.
