Hassane Is a warm host who makes his guests feel at home! Having breakfast outside was a very nice experience.

This is a rustic, two bedroom cottage property about a 35 minute walk (uphill!) to St Emilion old town. Located in the the vineyards, it's fine if you have a bicycle or similar. It's only 5 mins by car but then you have parking to deal with in the town. It's on a slightly dusty track to don't arrive in heels or immaculate white clothing.
Warmly welcomed by Hassan, his wife and daughter, I was shown the shared downstairs area and my room. They do not live on the property. No elevator obviously so hope your bag is light (mine wasn't!). Rooms are pleasant and have good air conditioning.
Hassan offers wine for sale and Dinner is available if you want. It's a Moroccan themed dinner but I didn't try it myself.
I was asked to change rooms when here when another guest arrived that needed two beds (Hassan had given me the room with multiple beds) which I wasn't very happy about to be honest but it was a relatively small inconvenience I suppose.
Breakfast is available for 8 euros and it's OK but TBH pretty basic.
Everything worked out fine for my two night stay. If I were to offer any suggestions it might be to clean and redecorate the downstairs area which feels a little cluttered (There's a drumset in the corner if you're so-inclined!!). Overall, I'd score it 6.75/10. It was fine as long as you're not expecting somewhere shiny and new feeling.
Our host was away so we shared the space with another couple. Our host's friend Mohammed took great care of us making us fabulous dinners. This is a laid back place and cozy.

Disliked: Staff & service
We didn’t stay at the property although we had booked it. It was difficult to find and the signage once we did arrive to the correct place was not clear. On. Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm. I won’t go into the rest of the conversation, but we left to find alternative accommodation. As this place had good reviews previously I’m not sure why this went so badly wrong. I would add that it was not the property I was expecting and although by some vineyards they didn’t belong to the owner.
Tres bonne accueil !!! Tres convivial, merci encore pour le Tajine du soir il etait excellent !!! On s'est régalé avec mon mari !!! Se réveiller autour des vignes le matin a ete magique pour nous !!!! Encore un gros merci !!!!
We had a wonderful stay here. The host, Hassane, was very welcoming and friendly and we shared some bottles of wine together along with other travelers staying there. The property is absolutely beautiful with a stunning view of the sky over the grape vines.
Perfect location for exploring beautiful St Emilion. Comfortable and spacious, looking out at the vineyard and welcomed by our friendly host. We will certainly recommend to all our friends.
The manager, owner and host is extremely nice and service minded. The sunset in the garden is beautiful. Given the small number of rooms/guests it is also a very social setting where you meet and talk to other guests. We had two super days there.
Heerlijk authentieke plek met karakter. Aardige eigenaar. Super naar mijn zin gehad. Door de rommel moet je heen kijken. Het slaapverblijf is geweldig en een heerlijke airco
