This three storey house is a few minutes drive from the lively market town of Gavray ,which has a wide choice of shops restaurants & bars plus an 1875 church , twice weekly markets .
Walk through the front door and you are transported back in time with a huge salon with a baronial stairs leading to a minstrels gallery plus a large open fire place dating back to 1615 ,
Upstairs is a huge smart tv & comfy seating .
Next door is the kitchen , then a second salon with another huge open fire .This flows into a massive dining room with French windows to the garden
There is a toilet & shower room on the ground floor plus a laundry room with a washing machine & tumble dryer plus additional fridge & freezer
You get to the house down a gravel driveway flanked by trees & two ponds with huge fish .
You can unload your shopping right by the front door . Plenty of parking .
On the first floor there are four double bedrooms .
The large master bedroom has ensuite shower room . The other three bedrooms share a bathroom with shower on the first floor & the shower room on the ground floor On the top floor there is a massive suite with its it own lounge & tv , shower room & double bedroom
The house has central heating & two open fire places plus Sonos in all rooms on ground floor
The kitchen has a range cooker /gas , dish washer, fridge freezer , breakfast table , lots of china , glasses and cutlery , everything any chef would need to cook wonderful meals .
The gardens
The one acre of garden is mainly laid to lawn with two ponds & views across the country side . There is lots of garden furniture , including iron swing chair .
There is a wooden pagoda ,which is ideal for drinks , plus a fire pit with stone seating for cozy evenings .
There is also , a large Webber gas barbecue and smaller charcoal barbecue . One of the ponds is stocked with huge fish that love being fed .
Rules
No parties . Small dogs considered . Maximum 8 adults .
Please note there are two open ponds which may , make the house unsuitable for young children . The ponds are about one meter deep

The towering monastery at Mont St Michel is 55 minutes drive away , it is the second most visited tourist sight in France .
D Day beaches , plus pointé du Hoche , Avaranches ,
Saint Mère Eglise . 45 minutes drive . Tours can be arranged .
Bayeux with its famous tapestry is one hour away .
Granville , a Victorian sea side resort with ramparts , harbour , casino ,sea filled swimming pool .30 minutes drive .
Coutance with a 1000 year old cathedral & botanical gardens is 20 minutes drive .
St Malo is a fortified ancient city with great beaches & shopping . It was founded 1000 years ago .90 minutes drive
Rennes is the capital of Brittany & boasts historic timber houses .70 minutes drive .
Plus beautiful beaches , forests , castles , chateaux , rivers all nearby. Sculpture Park , abbayes ,Horse riding , golf courses , clay pigeon shooting & canoeing.
Nearest beach is Brehal , which is 8 miles away .

Getting here
You need a car in Normandy , so driving here is your best option .
However , you can use public transport to get from Paris to Normandy & then hire a car. France , drive on right .
