Beautiful house and amazing holiday

The house exceeded expectations, it's even better in real life than in the photos. Spacious, tastefully decorated and the owners have thought of everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, plastic glasses and towels for the pool and even a cool box for picnics and a shopping bag for the market. In the enormous garden there is a large pool (if you have young kids, be aware there is no shallow end) with plenty of loungers, as well as lots of trees which provide some welcome shade in the hot summer months. There is only one house next door, otherwise you are surrounded by nature and yet still only a 5 minute drive from the supermarket, boulangerie etc. Nimes and Uzes within easy reach and plenty in the area to keep you busy if you so wish, we were more than happy to spend lazy days by the pool and cosy evenings drinking wine around the dining table. Damien on hand and very responsive in the case of any issues. Wouldn't hesitate to book again, it was a dream holiday. Thank you!

Weekje relaxen met het gezin

Mooi authentiek huis voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. Perfect geëquipeerde keuken met high end toestellen. Ruime kamers. Mooi groot zwembad. Huis zag er nog beter uit dan op de foto’s. Ook een extra pluim voor de goede ontvangst en zorgen van Damien die er alles aan deed om ons verblijf perfect te maken.

10 days of calm near Uzes

We enjoyed our stay in Anja and Vincent’s bergerie - which was a family trip for 4 adults and 2 young kids. Damien and his wife welcomed us, showed us everything and were kind hosts, on call with lots of local information as well as being producers of excellent olive oil. The best word to describe the property is probably generous, with lots of kind touches - such as dedicated pool towels and pool tableware, all new and matching tableware, all kitchen mod cons, an 18m pool with alarm, spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms - one of which is located away from the house for whoever likes more privacy, blankets for the evening etc. They have thought of everything - this is a true holiday home and not somewhere with the owners’ leftover stuff as you often find. We could find all we needed in nearby La Calmette and had day trips to lovely Uzes, Nîmes and Arles. All in all, very relaxing. Recommended.

Vacances en famille

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos enfants et petits enfants. Le charme de la maison apporte un plus à cet agréable environnement avec sa très belle piscine Nous avons été bien accueillis par Damien. Nous recommandons vivement cette bergerie.

Un séjour de rêve , juste parfait !

Cette ancienne bergerie superbement restaurée allie un charme fou et un confort 5 étoiles. Tout est réuni pour un séjour idyllique : chambres spacieuses et excellente literie, climatisation fonctionnelle, grande cuisine munie d'un équipement complet et haut de gamme, vraie grande piscine dans un magnifique jardin, pas de vis-à-vis donc intimité garantie , abri ombragé pour les voitures : parfait en tous points. Accueil fort aimable et disponibilité du gardien des lieux complètent le tableau, nous nous sommes sentis comme des rois !

Französisches Landhaus wie im Bilderbuch

Wir hatten eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit. Die Seele baumeln lassen, am Pool entspannen und eine fantastisch ausgestattete Küche, in der ich meine Kochleidenschaft ausleben konnte. Für jeden Frankreich und Genuss Fan ein Eldorado.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at Anja and Vincent’s place, second year in a row. The property is very comfortable and spacious and with a great swimming pool. We really appreciated the gas BBQ too. Saint Chaptes is a lovely village only 20 mins from Uzes, with lots of great shopping around. Many thanks to the owners and to Damien (the property manager) who was excellent as per usual. Highly recommended !

Phantastische Ensemble aus Landhaus, Garten, Pool und Landschaft

Großzügige und sehr gepflegte, äußerst ruhige Anlage etwa 20 km nördlich non Nimes und 15 km südwestlich von Uzes. Gute Anbindung an die erstklassigen Ziele der Region (Pont du Gard, unbedingt: Kanu-Tour buchen, Orange, Avignon, Arles und Camargue (letztere ca. 1 h Fahrt). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Saint-Chaptes (Boulangerie, Charcuterie, Spar-Supermarkt, Serano-Schinkenspezialitäten am Ortseingang, Pizzeria, etc.). Damian kümmert sich in regelmäßigen Abständen um Haus und Hof und vor allem um den hochwertigen und stets sauberen und erfrischend sprudelnden Pool, der in seinen Dimensionen eine Besonderheit und Ausnahme in dergleichen Anlagen und Ferienhäusern darstellt. Die Zimmer - alle mit eigenem Bad - sind sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist perfekt und mit hoch- und neuwertigen Geräten und Zubehör ausgestattet. Das ganze Ensemble aus ehemaliger Hofanlage, Garten, Gebäude und Landschaft ist großzügig angelegt und lädt sehr zum Entspannen ein. Definitiv ein 5 Sterne Quartier. Merci Bcp an Anja/Vincent und Damian für phantastische Ferien.

Super stay

We had a wonderful long stay at this fabulous property and very much hope to be back. Everything from the welcome by the property manager, Damien, the 18m swimming pool, the accommodation, the well equipped kitchen, the location, and the list goes on … was absolutely perfect. Before our visit, we were worried the inside communal area would be too small but if you’re visiting in summer you’ll be outside and by the pool most of the time so it’s not an issue at all. The bbq outside needs a little tlc but we had some great bbqs there as is. Highly recommend this property.

Superbe propriété

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans la bergerie, qui est magnifique et à été rénovée avec goût. Elle est très bien équipée. Literie au top. Serviettes et draps inclus, ainsi que les serviettes de plage, ce qui est très agréable et trop souvent en supplément dans les locations. Nous avons été très bien accueillis sur place par Damien que nous remercions car il s est démené pour nous trouver un lit parapluie! Piscine hyper grande, très agréable. Un vrai petit paradis à proximité de pleins de jolis sites à visiter : uzes, Nîmes, le pont du Gard..

Une propriété pleine de charme, idéale pour les vacances

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour : la Bergerie est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipée et bénéficie d’un environnement magnifique. Beau jardin, vue très dégagée, piscine de bonne taille pour faire des longueurs, ping-pong, pétanque, VTT tout neufs, proximité des nombreux centres d’interêt de la superbe région... Les propriétaires sont très attentifs au bien-être des vacanciers et cela se ressent dans plein de jolis détails. De plus, Damien, qui s’occupe de la propriété, et très gentil et extrêmement réactif. Notre séjour était vraiment super agréable et nous recommandons la Bergerie pour des vacances ressourçantes !
