"We chose this property for its location to visit all the places we had on our list in the Perigord. It was close to Sarlat without the issues of parking and congestion - just perfect for us. The property was well appointed and the host very helpful both in getting us started and reviewing our proposed itinerary. "Very friendly welcome by the hosts, Andy & Uliana, and we were all impressed with the facilites, especially the heated pool and hot tub. Lovely couple of meals in the local restaurant in Meyrals."

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

The best of all was the friendliness of staff. The owner Angel was extremely helpful. He provided me with a lot of information about local places of interest and where to eat. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
