  • A few weeks ago I camped at La Mauricie National Park located in the Province of Quebec. Let me start by saying this park is massive and loads to explore. It has a similar feel as Algonquin Park with the exception of a language barrier. While most people in the park are bilingual, some don't speak English at all so if you plan on going I recommend you knowing at least the basics like 'There's a bear on my site and he's eating dinner' hehe JK. But seriously learning the basics will help you communicate with others in this National Park. The park features plenty of lakes to portage and trails to hike. You can expect to see the standard wildlife often found in Eastern Canada such as Bear, Moose, Wolf, Raccoons, Squirrels and so forth, but you may also find some Woodpeckers too. Some believe there are Cougars here too but seeing them is quite rare. You can also swim, fish, and bike to name a few.

First time visiting Canada, picked this location because it was out of the city and had nice photos and good reviews. Didn't know what to expect when arriving. This place is like a retreat, peaceful and calm. Like a fairytale absolutely gorgeous.our room was very big and had everything,my girlfriend was very happy and I was a hero .owner was welcoming but also left us alone to relax. Not a typical tourist trap. Only small complaint is hot tub wasn't running properly and I prefer protein at breakfast. We will definitely be back and call directly next time for a discount. Maybe rent a cabin next time with my friends or family. Even with the website fee the first time I feel this place was a great bargain. Thanks again.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Carl, le gardien, dès notre arrivée. Notre chambre était parfaite : super propre, confortable, et avec un balcon privé offrant une vue magnifique ! La propriété est très bien entretenue et tellement belle qu’on a l’impression d’être dans un véritable décor hivernal féerique. Nous avons séjourné dans le pavillon principal, mais les nombreux chalets semblaient également très invitants. La piscine était géniale, avec une eau chaude et propre. Nous étions les seuls sur place, alors nous avons allumé la télévision, nagé un peu et joué au billard ensuite. Le lendemain, on nous a servi un délicieux petit déjeuner léger dans la salle à manger commune. Le pavillon est magnifiquement décoré et dégage une ambiance très chaleureuse. Nous reviendrons certainement pendant les saisons plus chaudes pour redécouvrir cet endroit, et peut-être même nous baigner dans la rivière Sacacomie qui traverse le domaine. Hautement recommandé !

Magnifique sejour, le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres sont charmantes et ont un beau cachet, les lits confortables et le lieu est simplement magique. Nous y retournerons assurement. Mon épouse et moi avons été et sommes restés carrément émerveillés du Domaine Rivière Sacacomie à Saint-Alexis des Monts. Quel site brillamment dessiné et aménagé le long de la rivière ! Quels magnifiques bâtiments (manoir, chalets, bâtiment de la piscine intérieure, de la table de pool et d’autres jeux, bâtiments de services). Enfin, quelle folle mais belle créativité dans la conception et la réalisation de l’intérieur de ces bâtiments d’artistes ! Nous y avons adoré notre séjour du 17 et 18 septembre 2024 en jouissant de deux belles journées de soleil et nous y retournerons certainement. Je recommande à tous les curieux qui apprécient la beauté de visiter ce merveilleux domaine et je parie que plusieurs souhaiteront y aller. Bonne visite !

Nous avons passé 1 seule nuit mais tres bien. C est beau propre, accueillant par contre quelqu u. A eu besoin apres 9.30h aucune reponse je trouve ca moins securitaire. Je sais qu etre deranger pour des riens ca devient lourd mais quand on paie la chambre on ai.e bien coucher dans la chambre. Ils avaient oublié leur clés à l i nterieur. Mais le decor est enchanteur et que dire du merveilleux dejeuner qui mous a ete servi avec un beau sourire et le calme qui regne dans cette auberge c est magique. Gardez vos prix abordables ce serait apprecié. Je vais vous faire de la pub. Merci j h retournerai
