The staff was nice. Attentive to our needs. Our time visiting this place. The one big difference was the lake. The water this time was gross.

Place inside was very cute. It had some amenities that i was told i needed to bring myself. Pink mold around inside of door trim and shower head. Bed frames did not fit the mattress. Other than that the stay was good. Oh, was not inform asw to where to leave the key if nobody was in the office. If check out is at 11am someone should be there or have a a knowing place on or around the office door to leave the key. Would not was to leave the key somewhere and have someone trash the place.

The cabin was still dirty from the previous occupants. They basically leave you soap and tell you to clean yourself before you leave. However they didn’t leave a broom and the floor was gross and had food on it that wasn’t ours. Bed sheets were stained. Everything was super old and on its last leg. Same with the amenities. Mini golf is beyond run down and there aren’t even enough balls for a family to play, we had to share. There is no longer a camp store and no where even close to buy anything so if you forget anything you’re out of luck. They didn’t set up the activities that they put on the calendar because they “didn’t think there would be enough participants” when we all showed up. 5/10.

Little Solo Gateway!!

It was an amazing stay.. It was a very much needed getaway. Stayed at one of the cabins, fully stocked kitchen, cupboards full of all dishes and utensils, normal size frig and stove. Extra bedding if needed.. I was totally amazed! When entering, you smell the wood pine of the cabin.. Clean and homey. You have to clean before you leave just as you seen it upon arrival.. Excellent stay! Defiantly going back!

Not coming back, ever!

Cabin had cobwebs everywhere inside and out. The A/C did not work in the front living room (during 100 degree weather!) TV did not work. The lake should not be used for swimming! Office was only open till 4pm, so if you wanted to use or rent anything it had to be done early in the day. On the plus side we got to take showers! Oh yeah and the sheets on the queen bed were for a double bed!

Decent value, if you don't require cleanliness.

The staff were all very friendly. The cabin was dirty. There were used towels (from the previous renter?) left in the bathroom. Only one partial roll of toilet paper for a family of 5 for 5 days. The A/C unit in the bedroom was insanely loud, we didn't get much sleep. I requested that it be looked at twice, nobody ever came to look at it. The mini-golf course was cute, though the "store" closes at 4pm, so we weren't able to get the golf clubs and balls needed to play (we were visiting family by day, camping by evening). The swings are broken, leaving the only playground equipment being monkey bars and a rocking horse. The little beach area was nice for the kids to play in.

Cute little resort. Loved the lake and the activities. Bummed the swings were out of order. Will stay there again for sure.
