Overall, the space was clean and comfortable (the shower was especially lovely) and we were able to take advantage of the well-stocked kitchen. The back yard/patio was a great place to relax. We even had a deer and fawn stop by! Communication with the host was great and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay again."

"We stayed in the cottage right next to the beach. The cottage was comfortable and clean. It was well equipped for a vacation stay. The entrance to the beach was right next to us, making it easy for us to get to/from the beach (important due mobility challenges), and we got to meet a few people by virtue of that proximity too. Sydney was positive, accommodating, and quick to respond. Great stay, already have another stay booked."

The only suggestion that we found was missing was a lamp in the living area because the overall light was too bright at night, so a lamp with diffused light would’ve been a lot easier on the eyes. overall, the place is beautiful and our experience was very lovely. "Stephanie greeted us at the door as we arrived and welcomed us not only to Albert's (her establishment) but to Shelburne as a community. Stephanie had already provided us with the offer to make dinner reservations which we unfortunately declined as we had a very late lunch after driving in off the Digby ferry. Everything about the check in process was enjoyable and we were provided direct access to Stephanie should something go amiss. Nothing went amiss other than your's truly messing up Stephanie's wonderful communal coffee/espresso/latte machine which Albert's staff had tidied up and made operational almost immediately. All in all a wonderful experience and 1 night was not enough so I am already planning my trip back"
