I checked in a day late and my room still wasn’t ready when I showed up. They suggested I go to the breakfast buffet while they finished setting up my room. I ended up getting food poisoning after eating at the buffet, which cost me my two days in Sapa. On top of being sick, the bed was very uncomfortable.

Hotel was actually nice and clean, staff were friendly. Only a few things let it down for us. It may possibly be the culture and this may be moaning but upon check in you are hit with a list of "house rules" and all of the things you will be fined for. This started the experience on a negative. The things you can be fined for include: bringing outside food or drink into the hotel. I get it but when you only supply water in the mini fridge guest might want to have a coca cola or a snack when the restaurant is closed. Either provide these facilities or allow people to bring stuff in. You can be fined for making a noise. You can be fined for getting makeup on a towel. It made me not want to use the towels at all. The room - we booked and paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so we could enjoy our morning coffee and view the scenery and enjoy sitting outside to have a cigarette without having to go downstairs. The issue was the balcony was very narrow and had no tables and chairs. You also were not allowed to smoke other than outside the hotel. I understand that but why charge extra for a balcony just to stand on? Put some tables and chairs out there for guest to sit. The no smoking I accept I've just never been to a hotel that doesn't allow it. The bar was understocked and only had cocktails. The swimming pool had 3 sun beds so we didn't get to use it as there was nowhere to sit. Staff were friendly and nice hotel. Just the negatives above. Views were nice too

Bamboo hotel

The hotel was pretty nice, the staff were decent. Nothing to complain about, the hotel does really have pretty amazing views. I really liked that the hotel was just a little down the road from the main part of town, so its a little more quiet, also the restaurants across the street were really good.

We were warmly greeted on arrival by wonderful bell staff and Ngoc Du and Ngoc Anh. We were impressed with their english skills and outstanding customer service. The bell boys were also responsive and helpful. We unfortunately had a noise issue to do with a large family staying in the room beside us. Manager Dzu promptly dealt with our complaint which was much appreciated. Dzu also greatly assisted us in booking transportation back to Hanoi. All round excellent service, and if the mist lifts at and around the hotel, you will also enjoy amazing views of the mountains. So its worth extra for a room with a view!

に、we dont heve.　 にgo to the restaurant.　

For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the onsite spa was a delight. By far, the best part though was the staff. They were all so wonderful but in particular, Julie at the front desk went above and beyond for us every chance she had. She even went as far as hand delivering a birthday cake (with a song!). We would love to come back to the and stay!

Sapa is beautiful. Bamboo hotel is good

We travelled to Bamboo hotel during a very low volume time. The hotel was beautiful however with very few guests some things were lacking. We were happy with our room but not happy that the balconies had no chairs to sit on. The pool also had no cushions on the few wicker chairs that were there and no loungers other than the stationary ones in the pool. The breakfasts were okay but the coffee was very disappointing. It was not ready at 7 am when we came down even though breakfast started at 6. When I inquired about coffee a sterno was lit and placed under the jug of yesterday’s coffee to reheat it. I did not have coffee. Overall the location is good and has shops and restaurants near it.
