Our two bedroom (One King, One Queen) one (Full) bath home is PET FRIENDLY with AIR CONDITIONING in each room from April to October and warmly heated by natural gas.

There is a $50 fee for checking out after 11:00 a.m. There is a one night’s stay fee (normally $101 unless holidays) for checking out after 11:30 a.m.
Turn to “pilot” for hall heater and turn fireplace logs OFF in winter; turn off lights and TV. Make sure all major appliances are turned off; you can leave an A/C unit on in hot summer.
Put keys back in the key box. Message owner to let them know you have checked out so housekeeping can clean.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Check out is 11 AM so we can adequately prepare for new guests. If you do not check out by 11am there is a $50 fee (on VRBO). After 11:30am it's $98.

Beautiful property, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They thought of everything! Even our dog agrees! The hosts were helpful and very prompt in responding. Great place to stay

The property was beautiful and on good days we could even see the mountains in the background. The antiques in the property were lovely and the house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the town of Rutherfordton even if it was small. The shops were fun and the food was good. Over all we had a great vacation in a wonderful location.

A wonderfully warm and comfortable home.

This home offers a perfect getaway for a family, with or without pets. Check-in was easy, communication was excellent,and the home was warm, clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens are provided. I highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Lovely house

The house we stayed in was very clean and spacious. Big family room and kitchen and dining area. There are 4 window ac units that kept the house cool in 100 degree weather in July! I would recommend this house if you’re looking for a place to stay close to Tryon.

Cozy, Comfy, Country Charm

We loved our stay in Rutherfordton and were taken great care of by our hosts, Ben and Lori! We were welcomed in to a peaceful, clean, well organized home away from home. Our agenda was to relax and prepare for our granddaughter's wedding without chaos. Everything to make that possible was right there at our fingertips without any hustle and hassle. I even had the time to go for a walk and take in the beautiful surrounding area. The home was easy access and great location close to Rutherfordton. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. We liked the small fenced in area in the back yard for our small dogs to run around. We would stay again if we are back in the area.

Beautiful Respite

My daughter and I came up for the weekend to go to the Dirty Dancing Festival at the lake and we had a great time! The house was immaculate and very cozy! We stayed in the king bed room and the bed was very comfortable. Ben & Lori allow pets which was great and they are easy to communicate with about your stay. We will definitely be back!
