Rooms are clean, property is beautiful, but looks like there are not enough maintenance workers/gardeners to keep it from looking weathered. The food was decent, although it was also at VERY low occupancy when I was there, except for one weekend where there were many locals on the resort for a long weekend, and the dining was mayhem. Food was constantly needing replenishing, no dishes available, tables not being cleared after guests left due to low staffing in the dining room - which led to there being a shortage on glasses, dining plates, cutlery, etc. Most staff were pleasant, although they did not go out of their way to engage if you didn't start the engagement. We are not aware of there being any a la carte dining, although on our last day we saw people heading to another dining room for dinner and assume that was an a la carte restaurant - there was no mention of making any reservations upon check in. Most of the outlets in the room did not work, the sconce lights beside the bed did not work, nor did the telephone in our room, it was as if they were there for decoration only. Many of the alcohol brands that were available to us in July of this year, were not available in September, it was very limited. The only beer on hand is Presidente - not even Red Stripe! This hotel has a long way to go before it comes even close to qualifying as a 4star.

Whilst management is new you can tell they are working extremely hard to provide excellent service to their visitors. Every staff with whom we made contact was efficient, service centered and willing to go above the call of duty to ensure our vacation was memorable. My husband is already thinking of returning next weekend. Staff members who we can mention by name include Omar and Ruel at the bar. Ruel is excellent and we watched him multitasking and helping around in every area including the dining room. He is a true asset to the business. The front desk staff were also very warm and welcoming and provided assistance when needed. Thanks again MGM. We had a great time.

Y’all need to improve on y’all food options Providing only international food is crazy! No little curry or stew chicken especially on a Sunday.. improve in that department and this place would be perfect.

This hotel has so much potential, especially with new ownership. The rooms are definitely outdated, but with a few updates, this place could be amazing. The staff was okay overall, but two people really stood out — Kevion and Samji in the dining area were absolutely on point. The food was surprisingly good for an all-inclusive; usually, I find resort food to be unappetizing and end up eating elsewhere, but that wasn’t the case here. Since I visited during the slow season, the options were somewhat limited, but the quality and taste were solid. One suggestion: it would be great if the hotel kept a small amount of cash at the front desk to allow guests to exchange money for tipping staff. This would make it easier to show appreciation for the great service.

My experience was rewarding relaxing and exhilarating, the property was breathtaking and impressive, beautiful manicured property with an array of trees, easy access to the beautiful beach and pools, I especially enjoy the privacy it offered. Available was a wide selection of food choices that were quite delicious and multiple options for beverages. I had no reason to leave during my stay except for shopping. For me, I was most impressed with the staff, they all were very attentive professional respectful always attending to my needs offering services with a smile. I am already making plans to return with friends and family. Absolutely no regrets I’m spreading the word to visit this heaven on earth. I loved my stay!!

I have stayed at this property before changing ownership. Its always a lower budget hotel, but i thought the new owners would make better updates to the rooms and bathrooms before reopening. I do hoped this is something that they're working on. As a lover of nature i like the place for the fruit trees and gardens rights throughout the grounds, helps to keeping the place cool, instead of concrete. Plenty of nice beach areas. The staff was very helpful but not a true test, as their were limited persons there at the time of my visits, and they weren't overwhelmed. So i do hope that they can maintain that standard. Otherwise I'm looking forward to staying there again sometime. And I'm wishing the new ownership great success as they wishes to invest in Jamaica, while creating jobs for locals and foreigners alike. Bless!

It says all inclusive which it is if you demand food and drink. There was only one restaurant open and the main bar. The pool bar didn't have liquor in it. The food options were poor. The was no snacks. Food was only really available when the one restaurant was open. The place is very clean. The pools are small. Not really suitable for children. No watersports was available. The nightly and day entertainment was poor and there was about 15 guests when I booked
