The perfect stay- 6 Bedroom, 4 Bath with a HOT TUB

  • Sharkey Mountain Lodge is a gorgeous 6 bedroom, 4 bath home with a hot tub sitting on 6 acres that backs up to the National forest. Beautiful décor and furnishings, and all the amenities you might need to feel at home. Seasonal river in front of the property and you can walk out the back gate to the National forest. Located one mile from the Forest Service Road 120 ATV/UTV entrance.
    From Memorial Day to Labor Day you can enjoy watching live horse racing at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track conveniently located 9.9 miles away. The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino is 11.2 miles away where you can enjoy gaming, golf, fishing, concerts, and family events. Ski Apache (17.6 miles away) allows for hiking, ziplining, skiing and snowboarding, with 11 lifts including New Mexico’s only passenger Gondola to the top. The winter months offer a chance to take the kids tubing at Ruidoso Winter Park (5.8 miles away). No matter when you plan your trip, there’s something for everyone.

    The game room includes a pool table, foosball table & basketball shot game. Enjoy a game of poker with your family or friends, the table also converts to a bumper pool table, with a motorcycle theme bar and tv in the room. Theatre room with 85" tv with theatre seating.
    Workout Room with multi station fitness center, elliptical bicycle, dumbbells' set with bench and yoga mat & ball. Enjoy an evening on the 2nd story deck around the firepit. **There are 3 propane tanks on site-- It is the renters responsibility to refill tanks if needed/used.**
    Two security cameras are on the property-- located on the front of the house and on the back of the house. ****It is recommended to not turn the air conditioning units below 68 degrees to keep the units from freezing as recommended by HVAC companies in Ruidoso (due to the elevation)****

The house was beautiful and large with plenty of space for everything we needed, we loved the game room and the hot tub. The only downside i would say which is minor is that it could have been better stocked with towels. We really liked it and would book there again.

The house was amazing - all the bedrooms & space needed for a group of 5 adults & 6 children.We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping in Ruidoso.We all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table & various games.The outdoor deck needs to be replaced- cracked railings & boards were a hazard for the younger children.

We make a family trip to Ruidoso Father's day weekend every year,so we have stayed in alot of cabins over the years and by far this is the best one we've ever stayed in!Beautiful,relaxing and had everything we needed to have an amazing weekend including a game room and theater room for the kids!Thank you Sharkey Mountain lodge.

This home makes your stay in Ruidoso outstanding. The property is beautifully tucked away but you are still only 15 minutes from Walmart. The rooms are perfect for adults and kids! The communication with the management company/owner was wonderful. They were very communicative and responsive. We will definitely be back!

It is great quite location with a lot of room to chillout.

The home theater is great and a fun place to relax an watch movies at night. The only miner draw back is it is a bit of a drive to a trash can to dispose of your trash.

This house was pristine and perfect For our group of 4 small families..total of 10 people. We all enjoyed the game room, movie area, porch and hot tub. The living spaces were very useable and comfortable. It’s at the end of a beautiful country street and offers nice privacy too.

11 of my closest friends got together for a special weekend. This house was perfect for this large group. Everyone had a bed. The common area was perfect and comfortable. The outdoor seating with fire pits and jacuzzi were a highlight. I would highly recommend this property. I also hope to stay here again.

The best find in Ruidoso!

We were so excited to find a cabin comparable to the one our family owned and loved for many years. We wanted to continue the tradition of spending Easter in the quaint town of Ruidoso. The oldest in our group is now in college, but we weren’t ready to let go of the tradition just yet after our cabin burned down. The rooms, location, and wonderful communication with the property manager made this day perfect in every way! We had fun enjoying the thematic rooms, hot-tubbing during the snowfall, and playing pool, basketball, and foosball. Overall, this is a very wonderful place!

We enjoyed the place very much, it was very nice and spacious! The only thing we didn't have access to was the jacuzzi because it was locked. Oh and we recommend a different scent spray because it smelled a bit like "Raid".

Great family vacation spot

We stayed for just over a week and it felt like home the entire time. The game room was a blast but it was also nice to get outside and hike around. Every night we grilled and soaked in the hot tub....the place made for the perfect backdrop for our family fun! Only thing odd was the listing stated being on 6 acres but I think it was just under 2 acres.....no complaints though! National forest was behind us and a rocky bluff in front us so there was hiking and rock climbing.....rock climbing was more about watching others though :)

Fantastic place!

The property is stunning! Such a fun place with plenty of indoor games and activities. My kids enjoyed the theater upstairs! The neighbors are super friendly. Great place for a walk! There were some plumbing issues when we arrived, but the property manager and owner handled it in a quick and professional manner. We greatly appreciated the communication and how the situation was handled. They made it right! We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing Home

From the moment we drove up to the house at the beginning of our vacation, to the last minute we locked the door on our way out, it was amazing! This is one of the most beautiful homes in Ruidoso. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The different levels allow for the early birds to go to bed while the late night youngsters stayed up, played games, hung out in the hot tub or watched movies until all hours of the morning. We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the beautiful deck while the Humming Birds buzzed around. The wildlife was incredible. I highly recommend this home!

Loved the home! So much to do and still have a quiet country atmosphere. Every room as decorated in detail. Room for everyone to be together and make memories. We had a team challenge in the kitchen and it was so much fun. Very modern appliances and furnishings. Deer everywhere and a great place to enjoy the hot tub and relax with a great view.Great games as well. We will be back and all of the grandchildren wanted to stay! easy check-out too! I will start off with a breath taking view, beautiful house more like a mansion.. we loved the balcony plenty of space for whatever you want to do.... Jessica was awesome i have stayed in many homes, Jessica by far went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, you wont be disappointed renting this home.. will stay again for sure if in the area..
