Cute little cabin in the woods met all our expectations for a quick shopping get away with a friend! The cabin was comfortable and well appointed with basic supplies and everything we needed. The hot tub was excellent and we very much enjoyed the back deck area for morning coffee and evening sunsets and deer watching! The cabin could use a good deep cleaning and some modernizing, but overall was a great place to stay and more than met our needs!

We had such a fantastic stay! The cabin was in a great location and was minutes to anything in the city. We had numerous deer around the cabin almost daily, saw/heard elk around, and the birds were nice. We traveled to White Sands NP, Lincoln, and drove up the mountain to Ski Apache. Great views! The cabin had everything we needed and more. Watching the mountain sky in the evening/night from the hot tub is always a favorite activity to see satellites and military planes flying around. When we do return to Ruidiso, we would definitely stay here again if the host would have us.

We really enjoyed our week at this cozy but huge log cabin. Three bedroom and 2 baths was ample for us and our adult children. We enjoyed the wonderful hot tub and sitting on the back porch just relaxing in this beautiful haven. We would definitely book again. Thank you!

Great place

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ruidoso this is it. The cabin is so nice , the kitchen is full of cookware, dishes and everything you need We stayed on the deck a lot and watched the deer, wild horses, hummingbirds and elk. It’s close to town and grocery store. Your hostess is amazing. If you ave question she answers right away and so nice. We had an amazing trip. And would definitely go back

Great destination to relax

Depending on time of year, guests should be warned about lack of central a/c. Common toiletries, usually present in hotels would be nice. Lighting in kitchen was dismal.Janelle, property owner was available for calls and texts and was very responsive as needed. We loved see the wildlife.

Very Cozy!

This cabin is beautiful! It was so cozy and just a great cabin-y feel! Absolutely perfect for my husband and I and our 3 boys. The views were beautiful and we saw plenty of wildlife! Overall, we had a great time here, it’s spacious, cozy and allowed us to create such beautiful memories with the kids!

Great Cabin

We had a great experience at the Lazy N cabin. It had everything we needed for the week. We were there during a snowstorm and very cold temps. We didn’t leave the cabin for 2 days. There was ample firewood to keep the fireplace going, plenty of towels, dishes, etc. Janelle was very easy to communicate with and we were able to extend our stay due to the snowstorm. I’m an above knee amputee and use a wheelchair when not wearing my prosthetic.Even though this is not an accessible cabin, I was able to navigate the hallway, front bathroom, bedrooms, and kitchen. We enjoyed watching the deer and elk that came by to visit. The only issue we had was the driveway, and it was our fault for not following the recommendations of having 4 wheel drive or snow chains. Once we purchased chains at Walmart, we were good to go. So, if you go and there is snow, be more prepared than we were. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home away from home

This cabin was everything detailed in the description. The location was ideal for all activities. The house was very clean and smelled great when we walked in the door. There was everything we needed to cook, do laundry and start a fire! It was exciting to look outside and see all the wildlife. Homeowner was very quick to respond when we had a question! Overall great home and would definitely bring our family back.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Family of 5 stayed 4 days. The posted pictures do not show this property to its full potential. This is the perfect mountain cabin experience. Bedrooms are full size, both bathrooms full size. Amazing double deck for wildlife viewing, cooking, and socializing. Hot tub is perfect. Open lots on both sides provide a truly private experience. The firewood provided is more than enough for a week stay..super ! The laundry room is amazing for keeping towels and swimsuits dry for the next dip lol the kids truly loved that part. The positive list goes on but in short this property and manager is truly loved. This property and the memories it provided will live with our kids for a lifetime.

Perfect cozy cabin

Cabin was excellently appointed. Kitchen had everything needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner and was so easy to move around in. Hot water was excellent, comfy beds and living area and the hot tub was so welcoming. Janelle was wonderful. Very sweet and rrspinsive. We couldnt have asked for a better holiday weekend. Excellent hosts!

Charming Cabin

Perfect Cabin

This is our second time at this cabin and we love it! Perfect for our family with kids and pups. Love the fenced in yard, hot tub and closeness to town. Will definitely be back!
