"Es war alles ganz wunderbar! Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen, 2 Kids im Alter von 11 Jahren und einem Hund über ein verlängertes Wochenende da. Das Haus ist super gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet. Wir haben insbesondere den Kachelofen und die Sauna ausgiebig genutzt. "Conveniently located hotel right next door to the main station. Rooms were fine if a bit tired. No kettles in the rooms but hot water available in reception so you could make a drink."

"This is the perfect location for visiting the Black Forest right at the edge of the city of Frieburg (allowing no cars, in case you weren't aware). We stayed for two nights hiking in the area and visiting the Open Air Museum. Frieberg was charming for late afternoon/evening activities. The hotel is not fancy, but perfect for most as it is well maintained, guest oriented and extremely clean. Parking is available for 15e per night. The complimentary simple buffet breakfast provided each morning was a wonderful way to start each day. Service by both the front desk and breakfast staff was friendly, genuine and excellent. Inexpensive laundry service was available with quick turnaround, which was so helpful as we were close to finishing a multi-week trip. Restaurant recommendations provided were thoughtful and perfect for our needs. 5 stars for our visit May 14-16, 2026. Don't wait to book. I booked months in advance and was super glad when I checked weeks later and there was no availability."
