We enjoyed a lovely three-night stay at Hotel Squero. It was within walking distance to the old town of Rovinj in one direction and a few great swimming spots in the other direction. The staff were very friendly and welcoming (It is a family-run business), and a varied and generous breakfast was another positive aspect to the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a quiet garden. While parking may not be right next to the hotel, one of the owners was always ready to drive us to our car. If we ever find ourselves in Rovinj again, we would definitely stay at Hotel Squero.

Stayed in double room with balcony and sea view. Fantastic outlook over the bay and the old town. Family run hotel and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The manager/owner Sergio is such a great host. Seems to be always available for anything you need or require information about. Hotel is short walk from the old town and a lovely coastal or forest walk the other way. Big bonus is the excellent breakfast available until 11am. We will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff

We stayed for a week in this family run hotel. All the rooms are spacious. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us make the best of our stay. We were supplied an iron on request. Also the owner was available for our very late arrival and shuttled us to and from the car park. Breakfast buffet had good selection. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you to everyone at Hotel Squero !

Thé hotel is newly renovated and room was very clean and spacious. Had a view of the ocean with a blg balcony. Breakfast was good and staff very nice. Great location, 5 min walk to old town. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Highly recommend !

Very helpful team. The breakfast was fresh and very plentiful. Liked that we were given a option of freshly cooked eggs. The breakfast hours were very convenient 8am until 11am. It was very pleasant to sit out on the terrace, relaxing and enjoying the view. On our last day we had an early breakfast. This came quickly and was very welcome. The people on front desk were very helpful, as were everyone on the breakfast and cleaning teams. The room was very pleasant and well equipped. It had an excellent bathroom. We would have preferred a kettle and larger cups, rather than the coffee pod machine. Our balcony was large, with two chairs and a table, in addition to the swing chair. A lovely relaxed space, that got the morning sun. Thanks for a lovely stay. We hope to return soon.

This was the most perfect stay!! Incredible views, lovely breakfast, deeply kind and helpful staff. Well located and a lovely walk along the water just a few minutes into old town. Also walking to the left is a great park and beach. We stayed with our toddler and deeply appreciated the crib and high chair and how kind everyone was! Thanks for an amazing stay!

We had an amazing experience and can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff and front desk were ! Huge shoutout to Sergio for being so helpful with all our needs. Location is perfect the view of the water and proximity to old town made this an excellent choice. Rooms were well maintained we had water views and loved sitting on the patio with a glass of wine . Breakfast was excellent with a great assortment of pastries, breads, fruit, cheese, meats and egg omelettes. Rented bikes and ride along the waterfront. Best accommodations on our entire Croatian trip . Highly recommend

This family owned and operated hotel is one of a kind !!!! You feel like home from the time you arrive till the moment you leave, The family was always very helpful and friendly. The room on the water with the balcony was amazing !! We have travelled a lot and would certainly rate this hotel in the 5%.

Das Hotel ist einfach perfekt. Lage Top, zu Fuss ist man in 5 Minuten in der Stadt Rovinj. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Handtücher werden jeden Tag gewechselt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend. Wer äusserste Ruhe sucht, sollte evtl. Gartenseite buchen oder sich ausserhalb der Stadt umsehen, da Abends Trubel aus der Stadt / Strasse vor Hotel wahrnehmbar ist. Das muss einem bewusst sein wenn man zentrumsnah wohnt. Die Fenster sind gut gedämmt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Great position if you book sea view rooms. Sound proofing of large sliding door to our balcony, together with the air con, worked well to shut out external noise ( needed as the road in front is much used by holiday makers), and keep the room cool. We used hotel bikes for an afternoon to explore the park & quieter coves at the end of the area which is very lovely area). Boats/ferries go from right opposite the hotel, to the islands. Walk in to the Old Town is just 5 mins. Breakfast was excellent - fresh produce and good selection - on the terrace overlooking the sea and Old Town. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Altogether a very good place stay to stay to be comfortable and near everything.

We had a fantastic four night stay at this beautiful family run hotel. There was the warmest of welcomes, super choice of healthy buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Our room had a balcony with gorgeous views of the sunset over Rovinj old town. It was a short stroll alongside the marina to the many restaurants serving wonderful local dishes.

Great modern hotel

Great modern hotel in a convenient quiet location. Very large room, well appointed. Good breakfast and staff very helpful. Parking for the hotel is free and a 2 walk away. Would definitely stay again
