A nice place to stay

Overall we enjoyed our say at Sport of Kings. The checkin was easy and the ladies at the front were super accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and the kitchen had good amenities. We used the laundry while there and it worked well. It is a little dated and the spa was clean but a little old looking although we still enjoyed it.

Checkin was seamless. Very helpful and friendly staff. Restaurant recommendations for Urbanos and breakfast were on spot. One of our tours got cancelled and they tried to find us a replacement at the last minute.

Sport of Kings is a lovely place for a short stay. Very clean & comfortably furnished. Good quality lbedding with very comfortable mattress. A nice bistro in a 10 minute walk if you don’t have a car. Classic old style motel hosted by lovely people with true hospitality.

We stayed in a one bed apartment with hot tub. ( Mother and adult daughter) It was great to enjoy our own pool / hot tub throughout our stay. The room was super comfy. We only had one night in Rotorua and I was very pleased with my stay here. A friend had recommended it to me. Staff were helpful and friendly. Quiet location. This will become my go to motel when I am next in Rotorua.

Everything was great about our stay at Kings of Sport Motel. The only downfall was that there was no air conditioner in the room. Otherwise everything else was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt really comfortable.

My first experience of a motel and I was pleasantly surprised! Super friendly host, nice rooms (we booked one with a natural hot tub) and good location. The property is older but clearly well-loved. Cleaning was pretty good - some areas missed like the under side of taps but I am notoriously fussy. The host/ owner couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and we felt right at home. I’m very glad we chose to stay here. Thank you!
