"I am very particular when I rent and stay places, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was. The host was perfect, answered the few questions I had, Bill was able to help us with a few minor things at the house. Some of the guests used the hot tub and it was clean and a good experience. Kitchen is perfectly stocked with every utensil and more that you may need. All in all, it was a pleasure to have no complaints. I will always come back and book with Timberrock ."

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Owl's Nest. Pearle and David were excellent hosts, with great communication throughout the entire process. They were very concerned that everything was to our expectations and that we had the best time. The cabin is very cozy and is complete with anything you could possibly need during your stay. They have a ton of board games and activities around the grounds such as basketball, hop scotch, frisbee golf and even axe throwing! The grounds are lovely, offering unexpected themed walking paths, offering a tribute to the Beatles, Alice in Wonderland, fun frogs and a fairly village. And the outdoor hot tub is heavely! They are currently building an outdoor Swedish sauna which will be the best. David and Pearle even made a point of ensuring that their boat dock was in place in time for our visit, knowing that we were bringing our boat with us. I rate this property 1000 out of 100! Great rental. We will definitely be making a return trip soon. Thank you so much Pearle and David! "

"Dallas was amazing at accommodating my husbands birthday weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful and spotless upon arrival. I really don’t have any complaints, if anything the hot tub jets didn’t fully work, the bedding was comfortable but the actual mattress was pretty firm and a tv would be great in the bedrooms. The game room was the star of our trip along with the porch. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return."

"We had to come into town for a family emergency and needed somewhere clean and quiet to stay as my husband is still immunosuppressed from 4 years of cancer treatments. The staff were wonderful, especially the lady in housekeeping. She was helpful and super sweet. The rooms are kind of dated, but it was clean and quiet. Lots of pillows, mattresses were nice. There is a lovely patio for each room and the scenery is really breath taking. Only real downside was breakfast was mentioned on the website and on a little sign posted on-top of the tv in the room, but when we went in search of breakfast we were told they no longer offer that. Overall we were pretty happy with our stay and would go back again. "

"Walking into the cabin and seeing the view from the living room was amazing! ... a beautiful sweeping view of a cow pasture on the hillside and a mountain ridge. Fireplace with provided firelogs and electric candles on the mantel made for a relaxing evening. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Little touches like the couch cover, ball and petwipes for dogs was nice. Carol even provided dog bowls and makings for s'mores! Rooms and bathrooms very clean with nice private views thru the woods. Watching a pileated woodpecker and a red-headed woodpecker while breakfasting was special. Would definitely stay there again, and I'd like to see the cabin in other seasons. Decks with rockers were nice, although the weather turned cold when we were there so I couldn't sit outside for long. Our family of 4 adults 1 dog stayed there April 5-8, 2026.
