"We had a great time. The property has two residences. The chefs/cleaners are in a house at the back. They were really great. Especially great cooks! We provided the groceries and they cooked in the outside kitchen to perfection and cleaned after each meal. For us, it was all authentic Colombian food, which is what we wanted.The location is great. "The club lounge is definitely worth the upgrade. With a very nice breakfast and evening cocktails. The week I stayed the beach was closed with construction machinery on it. I would’ve liked to at least been notified of this situation. For the beach the alternative is to go to one of the island beach clubs which you NEED to do your own research on, as it became abundantly clear that wherever someone recommends is getting a kickback from and this brings me to the concierge that recommended mine which was ok but lunch was almost inedible. The concierge hours are inconsistent and can literally take days for you to track down. There’s a lot more to this part of my disappointment but non need to go on a tirade. That aside they have a very relaxing pool and decent food with some polite staff. The immediate neighborhood has ample services and places to eat, but is a bit dicey with aggressive vendors and street walkers. The area of the walled city is a much nicer neighborhood to stay, aside from not being on the water but if you’re going to be a patron of the beach clubs in baru or the islands, you’ll have all you want."

"Cela a l’air bien sur les photos mais c’est du camping confortable en fait… Le personnel était respectueux mais nous avons dû quitter les lieux et trouver un hôtel à côté pour dormir car cela n’était pas du tout le séjour qu’on avait en tête. Attention aux photos! Il n’y a ni clim, ni moustiquaires (présence d’un ventilo sur pieds). A part la chambre l’hôtel n’offre aucun autre espace de chillage vraiment à part la salle à manger. Juste une chambre dans laquelle dormir et un 3min de marche en pleine brousse pour accéder à la plage où il n’y a ni transats ni serviettes ni ombrelles pour vous accommoder. Ce n’est pas du tout l’escapade sur une île à laquelle on s’attendait en se basant sur les photos."

"Excelente lugar lo único malo fue el tiempo que decidimos quedarnos te quedas con ganas de más tiempo ahí la atención el personal súper atento y al pendiente el lugar está hermoso excelente para relajamiento y si te gusta la corona como a mí este es el paraíso súper recomendado el cuarto otro paraíso aparte súper limpio con todo lo que necesitas y más"

"Lovely hotel right on the beach. Two beaches, one for guests only and one for guests and day visitors. Beaches are nice - pretty but small and there is a lot of broken coral in the shallows so take some water shoes. Do not be put off by big blue building - this is not part of main hotel where buildings are more rustic and attractive (I think this is just storage /service area), you don’t really see it while staying. Staff were all great, very friendly and always helpful and the food was all good. Prices are not cheap but I think that’s across all island hotels. I had great boat tour of islands including snorkelling, which was better than I expected - saw a lot of fish species and a turtle. Quieter than other hotels on the island but that suited me and lovely to be on a real beach. I would book here again if visiting the islands"
