"From check in to check out, all of the staff on reception, the bar and restaurant and the domestic staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. The young man on reception made sure there was a table for my friends and I in the bar and that we had a view of a television to watch international rugby, even though the rest of the bar were watching football and the barman made sure the channel was changed for us. There is a great variety of food on the menu from the snacks to the meals and all are great quality too. My room was large, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities necessary. The bed was extremely comfortable so I had a great sleep. This is the second time I have stayed here and I will happily return. "

"Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. "

"We arrived late and the staff waited as long as they could for our arrival. The room was really clean. The staff was super polite and helpful. Very nice place to stay at. "

"This hotel is amazing! We loved almost everything about it! The hotel grounds are beautiful…surrounded by a beautiful golf course, highland cows, pastures land. Our room was large and well appointed. We were in the stable building. The main castle/hotel itself was really beautiful. There were two weddings (on different days) while we were there…which was fun to see since the men were in their full dress kilts and the women in their gowns. The Cave Bar is fantastic! It was built in the 1800’s but modernized a bit over the decades. They had great food and drinks and the staff throughout the hotel was very polished and responsive. They have 4 outside plexiglass domes where you can eat dinner or lunch…and the biggest one has a full bar in it. The smaller domes must be reserved…and they were booked the entire time we were there…so make reservations early!! The big dome was open to everyone and you didn’t need reservations. Very fun experience. This place is great and I highly recommend!"
