The Villa Romana is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, directly on the sandy beach of Playa Serena, with a long promenade and next to the natural park of Punta Entinas, where you can admire the pink flamingos in their natural habitat. On Thursday mornings, you can shop at the local open-air market for fresh fruit, vegetables, and other local products. There are also two covered markets where you can buy not only fruits and vegetables but also fresh fish and meat; one in the "Las Marinas" neighborhood about 2 km away and the other in the city center.
