The facility is close to a train station, which was convenient. We only stayed for 2 days on our way to a cruise. On day 2, one of our party accidentally locked his keys in the room so they were locked out waiting to get help from the hosts, which were not on site. While waiting for the door to be opened, our 11 year old grandson climbed a retainer wall and his shoes left faint marks on the wall. We were not aware of the marks until after we had checked out and the hosts notified us with a text that she was furious we had left marks on the wall. We apologized and promised to return and assess the damage, which we did. Upon seeing the walls, we accepted responsibility and offered to pay to have the marks removed. The hosts rejected our offer and asked us to pay to completely repaint the retainer walls, which is unnecessary. We apologized again that his wall climbing left marks but think their reactions were unreasonable.
