I can't fault this place. It was absolutely perfect. From the service we recieved from the host to the room itself; including our own private balcony and bathroom. Everything was cleaned daily and so comfortable. We'd definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone :)

Ótimo custo-benefício em Roma. Há menos de 5 minutos de caminhada da estação ferroviária de Trastevere, com fácil acesso ao centro histórico por meio do Tram (cerca de 10 minutos), e fácil acesso por Trem ao Vaticano e à estação Termini. A simpatia dos anfitriões, Matteo e Camelia, nos fez sentir como em casa, são pessoas que você vai querer ter como amigos! O b&B é formado por quartos espaçosos, limpos e localizados em um prédio muito agradável com elevador. Trastevere é um bairro com muitas opções de restaurantes, bares, pizzarias e mercados, onde você tem a experiência de conviver mais com os romanos do que com turistas! Voltando a Roma, com certeza ficaríamos hospedados novamente no Stairs of Trastevere! Great value for money in Rome. There is less than 5 minutes walk from the Trastevere train station, with easy access to the historic center by the Tram (about 10 minutes), and easy access by Train to the Vatican and Termini Station. The friendliness of the hosts, Matteo and Camelia, made us feel at home, they are people you will want to have as friends! The B & B consists of spacious, clean rooms located in a very nice building with elevator. Trastevere is a neighborhood with many options of restaurants, bars, pizzerias and markets, where you have the experience of living more with the Romans than with tourists! Returning to Rome, we would definitely stay again at the Stairs of Trastevere!

Good place to stay!

A good place to stay in Rome in general. The localization is good, near public transportation and several local stores. The girl who was waiting for us there was very nice and helpful, and the cleaning was good. The only thing that bothered us was the noise at the night. The walls are thin and you can hear people in other rooms if they talk loud (which happened 2 nights). Also in Rome it is allowed sound in emergency sirens during the night, which woke us sometimes.

Stairs of Trastevere zijn kamers in een appartement complex. Dicht bij station en OV. Ontbijt moet apart worden bijgeboekt. Badkamer was pp de gang. Maar wel voor privé gebruik. Je mag gebruik maken van de gezamenlijke keuken. Er is een mogelijkheid om koffie eo thee te zetten. Kamer netjes. Locatie prima.

good accomodations/great price

to find a place this inexpensive but still excellent in rome was amazing; it's a small b & b on the 3rd floor of a building but is located within walking distance of the train station connected to both the airport & cruise ship terminal, in a very safe neighborhood; the room is a bit smaller than a US hotel but very clean/comfortable; breakfast is left in the frig with tea/coffee, a panini press, & coffee maker in each room; private bath is included but it is outside the room; the manager bends over backward in assisting guests with paperwork & suggestions; our two night stay cost less than one night in a hotel by the airport; usually, the only inexpensive hotels in rome are near the main train station; we plan to return with our granddaughters later this year

B&b a due passi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Trastevere: comodo per spostarsi sia in aeroporto che al centro di Roma. I gestori sono davvero cortesi e disponibili a fornire aiuto e informazioni. La stanza aveva il bagno in camera e un cestino, riempito ogni giorno, con tutto l'occorrente per un'abbondante colazione. Se ne avrò l'occasione, tornerò sicuramente.

Decepcionate, el peor BnB que me ha tocado en Ital

Punto principal e importante: agua caliente: la habitación que nos tocó tenía un problema con el agua caliente, le escribo al dueño y tarda una hora en proponer solución después de insistirle mucho, su primera solución fue espera a que caliente. Mientras tanto esperando enjabonado y con frío, una hora después me pasa a un baño compartido sucio y fuera de mi habitación, lo cual no fue lo que pagué. Al final resultó que si estaba descompuesto el boiler. En las sábanas de la cama encontré un cabello y las almohadas estaban horribles, al menos la encargada las cambió la segunda noche. No se esfuerzan en satisfacer al cliente, una vez que han cobrado, se desentienden. Para estos problemas la encargada te manda con el dueño y el dueño nunca está.

We stayed at Stairs of Trastevere for our first night in Italy before renting a car nearby for an 8-day road trip. The location was ideal for our needs- about 10min walk from Roma Trastevere railway station which is convenient for travel from the airport. The reception was very friendly and helpful- we appreciated getting some orientation about Rome on our first day. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The shower is a little cramped but fine for average size person. Wifi worked well. We had a good rest, since the room was quiet at night. Breakfast is in-room, self-serve style but tasty and included fresh food kept in the in-room fridge. Great value for a short stay in Trastevere.

Lovely hosts really helpful and informative

Lovely hosts really informative and helpful about the area and local transport which helped us massively. Room was clean and small breakfast provided in room which was nice and private, with good coffee machine. Very clean and nice room. Shower was a little small but fine for a few days stay to freshen up. Great value for money spent for a stay in Rome. Staff were very friendly. Thankyou
