I feel completely deceived by all the glowing 10/10 reviews for this hotel. My experience was far from what those reviews promised.
To start, the hotel was dirty, both in the rooms and common areas. Our room had visible mold, and the vent was packed with what looked like dust or mold, which made me concerned about air quality. Speaking of air — the air conditioning didn’t work at all. Our room was hotter than the outside temperature, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep. Opening the window wasn’t an option either, as the neighborhood was loud and felt a bit unsafe, especially at night.
The WiFi barely worked, constantly cutting out, which was frustrating and made planning our days difficult. The ceiling had visible cracks that made it look unstable, and the mini fridge gave off so much heat inside its cabinet that it smelled almost dangerously hot when opened.
The shower setup was very odd — only a handheld shower head with nowhere to mount it, which made showering awkward and messy. Only one thin pillow per person was provided, hardly enough for a decent night’s rest.
One of the more concerning parts was the luggage storage. It’s completely self-service, with no tags, no tickets, no security checks. Anyone could potentially take someone else’s belongings without being questioned. This felt very unsafe.
The only positive I can mention is that the reception staff were kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the many issues with the hotel itself.
