First, the staff was the best we've encountered in all the hotels we've stayed at in Europe and the Middle East. We were treated like VIPs, with exceptional kindness. The welcome we received at the reception was so sweet and friendly. Communication was excellent and very informative. The entire staff was very interested in making us feel so comfortable and welcome. The hotel is very beautiful and super clean. We've visited Rome four times, and I assure you that on our next visit, we'll book with Hotel Genova through Expedia. To anyone looking for a hotel of the highest quality, look no further. I highly recommend the Hotel Genova, which deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Bravo!

Information provided for accessing the internet was wrong. Spent a whole day constantly getting disconnected until we just used another wi-fi connection (different from info provided to us at check in) and it worked. Turns out, the connection was also Hotel Genova’s but not mentioned to us.

Centrally located near Termini and walking distance to all major attractions. Lovely rooms and service is both helpful but cheerful. Will stay here again. Breakfast was best I’ve had in Rome.

We stayed at Hotel Genova 23 years ago when visiting Rome. It is very convenient to the Rome Termini, nearby restaurants, shopping, and taxi services. The hotel is well maintained and provides a breakfast each morning.

We had requested a birthday note but we were quite disappointed that they didn’t fulfil this request despite being aware weeks in advance. We were also entitled to a drink upon arrival being an Expedia platinum member but they didn’t provide this either. Good location.

Location was central and staff were extremely helpful in securing free street parking for our 2 day stay. Air conditioning was fine. Shower water temperature control needs to be fixed as it quickly alternates between temperate to scalding. Breakfast was nice with varied menu. Big hotel with lots of guests. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. would stay again.

WiFi is TERRIBLE. In the lobby we could barely use it. In our rooms it did not work at all. We stayed 4 days and this became a problem. The staff didn’t seem to care or understand. The location is convenient right next to the train station. The room was clean. But would not book here again because of internet issues.

Bed was hard as a rock. Air conditioner did not work and they had to bring us a fan. The shower temperature went from cold to boiling every few seconds making it dangerous to jump out of the way of the scalding hot water. Mold in the bathroom. Will not stay here again. Very hard to sleep in that hot room.

The air conditioner was dripping through the light. The ceiling was falling down. The refrigerator was the size of a shirt box and refused to get cold. The hotel interior was very outdated for the price point in comparison to the other hotels in the same area. They did move us to a different room. This was our last night of a trip through 11 counties and this was by far the most disappointing.
