Location is amazing for sightseeing and shopping, if you’re so inclined, and the room was a great size with comfy beds. Great selection at breakfast but the only drawback would be no other food offerings in the hotel but again there are some great options nearby. There’s also no air con in the stairway so if you have to do the stairs in August be prepared to sweat a little…

Location was a in a great. Very safe, walkable, near a lot of restaurants and shops. Walking distance to all the major sites. AC was very cold which was a blessing since we went in August. The lobby/ front desk was a few blocks away from the actual building where our rooms were. It is was in an older repurposed building which had a lot of charm. Not very sound proof, we could hear talking and people walking through the hallways coming in an out. However, nothing beats the location and AC, both a must if you are staying in Rome.

Positives: Great location, a few minutes walk from Spanish steps. Room was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Cafe next door lovely for an early morning coffee if you were up before breakfast like us! Negatives: we have a queen room which was in an alternative building. This was only around the corner but the building had a lift and the rooms, no other facilities or services. Breakfast and bar at main hotel. We paid to upgrade our room to one with a terrace which was nice. The room itself was tiny. Whilst this wasn’t a problem in itself there was nowhere to store our clothes other than a small wardrobe. No drawers. Also no sockets next to bed which was a bit of a problem due to medical equipment needed in the night.

The room was in an a different building to the hotel we had booked and very different than online photos. The staff in the annexe building were lovely. The breakfast was nice and lots of choice. The decor of the building was poor and the feeling was that we had been put in a second class accommodation. Definitely not 4 star. We had only booked a standard room but our room and building not match any of those in the website. Feel like we were downgraded. It did not ruin our holiday but I could not recommend this hotel as I think it could spoil the holiday for some.

A lovely stay in Rome. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking around Rome. Our room was in the main building & looked exactly as advertised on the internet. We just had the standard double and it was clean & the bathroom & shower were spacious. The lift was working fine but is very small & old, so we only used it when we had our suitcases. The breakfast every morning was good & had plenty of choice. The reception staff were helpful in arranging taxis etc. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of hotel.
