The Savoy Suite Roma is a completely renovated apartment in the center of Rome. With three beautifully decorated bedrooms, a large and comfortable living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, one of them is en suite.The apartment’s location could not be more central for visiting the city of Rome. In one direction, a 10 minute walk will take you to the breathtaking Roman Forum and the Colosseum, as well as the Colle Oppio park (the hill where the Emperor Nero built his golden palace over 2000 years ago.) A 5 minute walk in the other direction will take you to the central train station, where trains leave by the hour for Florence, Venice, Milano, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Two metro stops are also within a 10 minute walk of the Avalon: Line A (Piazza Vittorio station) will take you in a few minutes to the Spanish Steps with its incomparable shops, as well as to St. Peter’s Square and the Sistine Chapel. Only two stops on Line B (Cavour station) will bring you to the majestic Circus Maximus, where in past millennia ancient Romans staged chariot races. Line B of the metro will also take you to the regular trains to Ostia, where in only thirty minutes you will arrive at the seaside to visit the ruins of Ostia Antica or have a leisurely seafood lunch on the beach.Near the apartment there are very good restaurants and famous stores for Italian breakfast, like Panella and Regoli. Among the Wilson’s services are an English-speaking driver who can do not only simple airport transfers but can also take you on private day tours to places like Pompeii, Vesuvio, Positano on the Amalfi Coast, Florence and Tuscany, Spoleto and Umbria, Tivoli and the Roman Castles.
