A gem in the most fun neighborhood in Rome

My wife and I stayed four nights at Zen B&B. It was wonderful. The room is spacious and has a nice terrace to sit out and enjoy the sun or have a cappucino. It is very modern and clean and there is an elevator. It is extremely safe as it requires four keys to get into the building and the room. While it is on a busy main street (Vialle Trastevere), it faces away from the street so you are not subject to the street noise. It is located in the heart of the most happening neighborhood in Rome, Trastevere. The hosts are beyond responsive and answered any text message within minutes and even arranged our car to the airport at a very early hour. This place is a real find!!

Excellent stay!

We had a great stay. The hosts picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for 40 euros each way - which was the most practical option for us. Our room had a very nice westwards facing balcony, a nice and clean bathroom and the room itself was both clean and quite spacious. The common area had a fridge and small kitchen, which was perfect after sightseeing, where we in advance could leave some cold beer, wine and snacks to enjoy later. Breakfast was at the coffee shop downstairs, and included one complimentary coffee and pastry of our own choosing. The location is excellent, very close to all necessary amenities. Communication with our hosts was easy through WhatsApp, both in advance and during our stay. Nothing but a positive experience through and through. We will definitely stay here the next time we return to Rome.

B&B super bem localizado, sempre voltamos a pé. Proprietários muito solícitos. Quarto espaçoso, banheiro bom. Só tinha muita poeira na parede acima da cama e debaixo dela tbm. No resto, tudo ótimo.

B&b très décevant.. Nous avons dû attendre qu’on nous ouvre la porte à distance.. des pièces à rongeurs disséminés un peu partout dans les parties communes.. Chambre très moyenne Petite kitch et balcon limite sale Petit déjeuner compris ? Nous avions droit à seulement une boisson chaude et une viennoiserie.. le reste a notre charge.. peut on parler de petit déjeuner ?? Aucune insonorisation.......... Très déçus par ce B&B Heureusement que le quartier était super... mais l’hébergement est à fuir..

Great place in Trastevere neighborhood

What wonderful customer service! They went out of their way to pick us up at FCO when we arrived, & took a bit of time to get us oriented, with maps, breakfast instructions, etc. it’s a family run business, & everyone was very nice & friendly. Room was fine & adequate for our needs. Many restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

Sympatisches B&B in Trastevere

Super freundlicher und unkomplizierter Familienbetrieb, habe direkt nach der Buchung Rückmeldung über Whats App bekommen (remote check-in via videbotschaft). Das Zen ist super gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Tramhaltestelle vor dem Haus, viele nette Restaurants zu Fuss erreichaber, einfach top. Auch Preis-Leistung ist super! Komme gerne zurück

Contratei o transfer do proprio B&B, que foi maravilhoso. Desiree e o marido Angelo, super simpáticos. Disponibilizam café da manhã num formato self service bem interessante. Maquina de cafe e chá disponivel toda estadia. Muito bom para quem gosta. Nao tem TV nem frigobar no quarto. Mas pode-se usar a geladeira da cozinha. O wifi é muito ruim. Melhor comprar um chip para toda viagem

It was a nice place, but it was odd that we never met any of the staff during our stay. We basically did remote check in and checked out on our own. Also strange to have stipulations on when we can shower etc (no showering past 11 pm).

Just spent a weekend here and don’t have one bad thing to say about the place. Desiree and her husband picked us up at the airport, lovely friendly people. Gave us tips on some local restaurants and Pointed out all the major sights on the map and how to get to them. Rome was clean and the breakfast was nice. Great location. Would highly recommend

B&B Zen is in a fantastic location. Within 30mins walk of all the top sights to see & there is also a tram stop outside if you want to save your legs. There’s loads of lovely places to eat close by & you have everything you need in the B&B, from a self service breakfast to lovely people who make your stay easy. Even booking in to collect & pick up from the airport. The beds were comfy & rooms big enough with a balcony. If in Rome I will be back. Thank you!

Sehr zentrale Lage - viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Umgebung kann man gut Essen gehen. Leider sehr hellhörig, jeden morgen gegen 7 Uhr Lärm durch eine Anlieferung im EG, Brummen der Klimageräte im Innenhof, Matratze durchgelegen, enthaltendes Frühstücksbuffet hat nichts mit einem Buffet zu tun (jeden Tag Toastbrot).

Super lejlighed

Fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme værter. En del støj fra gården, og fra ovenboen, lød som personen gik med træsko kl. 6 om morgenen og igen til midnat. Men ville alligevel bestille her igen, hvis vi kommer til Rom. Meget centralt beliggende, ved siden af supermarked og bager. Rent køkken til fri afbenyttelse, dejligt og skøn lille terrasse.
