Beware! Terrible place to stay!

At B&B Maestoso we were not greeted as guests, the owner is very rude. Not to mention that the WiFi doesn’t work and if it does it’s super slow. There is only one shared bathroom that was very tight and not well cleaned. Your breakfast is just a packaged croissant. I wouldn't waste my money if I were you.

No hot watter at all, the helper was very artogany showing me there was hot watter when there waa non3. This is very thin wals doors are hard to open and close creatingba sleep disturbance for everyone. The breakfast is just a little amount of food leftbin your room. The hairdryer burned up the rirst time that was us3d do to electricql problems.

Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber beim Bioler hängen die Kabel raus und beim Hände waschen hat man dann einen Stromschlag bekommen!! Haben das dem Besitzer gleich am ersten Tag gemeldet, jedoch hat er nichts unternommen.

Piccolo ma ben posizionato!

Esperienza positiva. Ottima la zona perché vicino alla metto A ponte lungo e quindi ben collegata; la camera risulta pulita e ben riscaldata ma piccola e il bagno manca del bidet. Personale un po’ scostante. In generale c’ è di meglio ma non lo sconsiglio del tutto!!

Stanza pulita contesto silenzioso, ceck-in da concordare perché non c'è una vera e propria reception. In bagno manca il bidet e per parcheggiare è complicato, ma ci tornerò perché il rapporto prezzo-qualità mi sembra vantaggioso.

E' stata una esperienza negativa: camera piccolissima (in 3 non ci si poteva muovere); bagno vecchissimo; pulizia scarsa, colazione improponibile (merendine confezionate nel cestino). Guardando la pianta del B&B esposta nel corridoio la camera che ci è stata assegnata risultava quella in dotazione del gestore.

We booked our stay about 25 min before checking in. We chose this B&B but upon arrival were told it was all booked but they had another location that had rooms available. Being 2 girls of course we needed to check to make sure this wasn't some kind of scam. So I looked at previous reviews from guests who had said the same thing so I was reassured that everything would be safe. The new location was great! Closer to all the tourist attractions and great restaurants near by (across the street you get 10% off). The room was large, clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Although there was no A/C (which my friend had a hard time with as we stayed in July) I was fine with it as most European countries do not use A/C. A lot of the reviews we read were complaining about the shared bathroom or breakfast. Both of which are told to you on the Internet in the description. All in all you get what you pay for and for us this B&B was great! I recommend it to future guests who aren't too picky and want a reasonable convienet place to stay! And the wifi was an added bonus!

I booked for 5 people but on arrival they wanted to charge for an extra bed/extra person saying I booked only for 4 people, didn't pay more. Breakfast wasn't much, a pre-packed croissant, a little sponge and 2dl peach juice. No tea, only espresso coffee machine. 1 toilet/bathroom is not enough for 3 rooms, staff doesn't speak in English, Wi-fi is not too good, double bed is two single bed together etc. Not recommended at all.

Yllätys Yllätys

Yllätyksenä tuli aamiainen. Se oli televisiopöydällä korissa; päärynäpillimehu, croisantti ja pulla. Oli myös minivedenkeitin ja murukahvia (vai teetä?) pikku matkapakkaus muroja. Aamiaisen takia ei siis tänne kannata mennä. Mutta hätä ei ole tämän näköinen, sillä melkein ulko-oven edessä on ma-la aamuisin suuri tori kadulla. Vitosella saat paikalliset tuoreet hedelmät, lihat ja sämpylät. Ilmeisesti useassa hotellissa (halvemmissa) tälläinen aamianen on normaali. Yllätys oli myös se, että "hotellissa" on vain 3 huonetta. Eipä ollut häiriötä naapureista. Yhdessä huoneesta on oma suihku ja wc, muissa ei vaan käytävällä on yksi kaikkien käytössä. Koska vieraita on kerrallaan kovin vähän, ei tuokaan oikeastaan mikään ongelma ollut. Ilmastointilaite on tässä paremmassa huoneessa, muissa kahdessa pöytätuuletin. Kolmantena yllätyksenä tuli se, että hotellin pitäjä ei puhunut sanaakaan englantia. Kaikesta huolimatta kaikki asiat saatiin selvitettyä. Ystävällinen hän kyllä oli ja hymyili vastaan tullessaan. Aivan riittävän hyvä hotelli kaupunkimatkailuun, ellei ole tarkoitus viettää hotellissa pidempiä aikoja. Me vaan nukuttiin siellä, päivät kului aamusta iltaan kaupungilla. Hotellin lähellä on kaksi metroasemaa, molemmat n. 300-500m päässä hotellilta eri suuntiin. Metrolla pääsee helposti ja nopeasti keskemmälle kaupunkia ja jopa melkein suoraan vatikaanin portille.

hotel sujo, banheiro sujo e com cheiro ruim

Péssimo, foi o pior b & b que já fiquei, o banheiro é compartilhado até aí eu sabia, mas o chuveiro é quebrado o box minúsculo e a cortina esta podre. Não sou fresco nem minha esposa, mas esse hotel é podre!

Excellent value for Rome

We had a lovely few days in Rome at an excellent price. The manager made sure he was there to greet us on arrival and show us to our room. Although it has a shared bathroom, because the B & B is small, it was never a problem getting in to use the shower. The room was basic but comfortable. It's hardly luxury, but then who would expect that at such a cheap rate in a capital city?

Service not extraordinary

Being woken up early in the morning to ask for payment because they wouldnt have been there later is not the best treatment received, but we were able at least to keep the baggage there until our departure. Room was clean and the place is convenient for subway for city center and train for airport, but coffee machine was ot working and we didn't had mugs for the tea (hot tea in plastic is not a solution).

Clean and comfortable but a bad quality service

Hi everybody, I stayed 3 nigths with my girlfriend in the Maestoso B&B. The room and the shared bathroom were confortable and very clean. However with my girlfriend, we had some problems with the service. Indeed, my girlfriend's grandfather died 4 days before our arrival and the funeral was the first day of our booking. So I asked to the owner to delete the first day of our reservation but he said me that was impossible. He just offered me to not pay the Rome city tax (20€ for 3 nigths). This solution was realy bad because I should have to pay 3 nights whereas I should stay just 2 nigths. Finally, I succeed to move our reservation (initialy it was from Friday to Monday and after it was from Saturday to Tuesday). Then when we arrived the room was not in conformity with my booking. I booked for a double bed and the room had two twin beds. So I needed to talk by phone with the owner for obtaining a discount (20€) and to be transfert to a room with a double bed for the second and the third day. In fact, the caretaker speak only Italian. Moreover the second day, the caretaker forgot to give to us the breakfast. And we didn't obtain a compensation for that. So I didn't keep a good image of this B&B. Bye, Manuel
