Over booked room

I made a reservation on expedia on the day of check in. The reservation was accepted and I traveled 30 minutes to get to the hotel. When I arrived, a taxi dropped me off and I then got a phone call from a man at the hotel. He said they did not have a room for me but had a room 30 minutes in the opposite direction - with excitement, he offered me a larger room at another hotel with a balcony. I explained I could not stay in the alternative hotel because I could not get another taxi to travel another 30 minutes in the opposite direction, I had a class to go the next day in the area, it was closer to the airport as well than the suggested new location. All details aside - I did not want to relocate. That’s my choice. I let him know I would find another hotel in the area and to refund me / cancel the res. I was left out in the rain, without the ability to get a taxi , and with all of my bags, alone. Unfortunately this was my last night in Italy and it was beginning like this….fortunately something a Roman pizza could fix. Either way, I found another hotel an hour or so later through Bonvoy (thank you) and discovered that I was still charged for the room. I called Expedia and they said the hotel employee had a completely different story. That he had a room and I didn’t complete his checking prompts or respond to his email? What? I will have to dispute the charge on my credit card and the universe will deal with this hotel employee.

Il ne s’agit pas d’un hôtel mais d’une chambre il faut prévenir avant d’arriver. C’est correct pour le prix. Confort et petit déjeuner très spartiate mais à proximité de la ligne pasquarela qui dessert au centre de Rome en 20 min. Très grand marché du Trastevere le dimanche matin à faire. Très bon accueil. Il manquerait juste un micro onde.

It was decent for a B&B. Breakfast is included but I wouldn’t call what was given breakfast, so don’t expect to have a good breakfast there. The space was clean. The mattress was not okay, I still have back pain..

Tutto bello come nelle aspettative.Soggiorno gradevole, in un contesto piacevole. Il servizio è stato come me lo sarei aspettato: buono. La pulizia è risultata efficace; la stanza era ben pulita e accogliente, come pure confortevole il letto. Buono è risultato il servizio, come pure buona si è rivelata la posizione del B&B.

La ubicación es buena, el desayuno era aceptable, la habitación tenía el tamaño suficiente. En cuanto al trato del personal, estamos bastante decepcionados debido a que amenazaron en cancelar la reserva cuando ya estaba paga habiendo llegado a las 19 hr con un horario de finalización del check-in de 21 hr, abrieron la puerta mientras dormíamos, no queríamos servicio de limpieza y aún así ingresaron a la habitación mientras no estábamos. Por otra parte el hijo del dueño gritaba a cualquier hora.

Piacevole scoperta, aria di casa e belle persone

Abbiamo prenotato al bnb trastevere inn perché ci sembrava un’ottima soluzione, vicinissima alla stazione (neppure 200 m a piedi). Abbiamo piacevolmente scoperto che, oltre ad essere una struttura accogliente, pulita e comoda, ha anche una marcia in più che è la signora Daniela. Dolcissima, premurosa e gentile, ci ha assistito per ogni nostro bisogno. La colazione viene servita la mattina o la sera a seconda delle esigenze e degli orari. Se si vuole stare in un posto tranquillo, con l’aria di casa e stringere al contempo relazioni interpersonali, lo consiglio!!

5 wonderful days in rome..

my stay in rome was great ! it wasn't the B n B that I thought it was going to be because I stayed in one with the same name last year, but this one was just fine. It had everyting I needed, it was close to all the attractions that I enjoy. I go to Italy every year sometimes twice and it is addicting. Daniella who is the hostess of the facility is a real sweetheart. At 8:30 am every morning, there would be a soft knock on my door, with the great aroma of hot espresso, and a nice breakfast platter which Daniella would bring to me to enjoy in bed. What a way to start the day ! Also, this B n B was a block away from the train station, and the tram stopped out front which would bring me to any and all the attractions that I wanted to enjoy

Awful awful place. Stay away. They don’t speak Italian or English. No way to communicate with them. This is NOT a real hotel, it’s a room in someone’s house. The room is ridiculously small and disgusting. They don’t let you out or in the hotel after 9PM. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. I stayed I e night, was kicked out by 8 AM the next day because I didn’t want to stay the next five nights. They kept all my money even though I didn’t stay all 6 nights. HORRIBLE place. Orbitz should not even have authorized this place to be listed. Avoid AT ALL COSTS!

Vi han inte ens checka in förrän hon var på och skulle försöka få oss och välja restaurangen så att hon skulle få provision. Vi fick skäll för att dörren stod öppen i 30 sek. Fick tillsägelse om att vara tysta, men hon gick med sitt barn i korridoren mitt i natten med hennes barn och skrek och hostade. Stenhårda sängar och kuddar. Hon som serverade vår mat kunde inte engelska. Det stod att det var enkelsängar, men det var dubbelsängar.

Fantastically placed position

This was our first experience of using a B&B as opposed to a standard hotel and proved to be a pleasurable stay. We were given keys to the front door, apartment door and our bedroom meaning we could come and go as and when we wanted. The hosts were very gracious and accomodating, offering to let us leave our luggage and giving us a key for the apartment to retrieve our luggage when we were ready, they also recommended places to visit that weren't necessarily typical tourist destinations. Breakfast was a continental tray of pre-packed items (sweet croissant, butter, preserves, cake, yoghurt, and good tea or coffee) brought to your bedroom at the time you requested it the night before! The hotel is on the main road in/out of Trastevere to the centre of Rome, with a tram stop for both number 3 (going out via the Colosseum ( and number 8 going to to the end of the line at the Piazza Venezia) and a short walk from regular buses and less than 5mins from the main train station at Trastevere. We found it an ideally located base to get to all the places we wanted to see during our stay.

Selve værelset var rigtig fint og der var ikke rigtig noget at klage over i den forbindelse. Morgenmaden er næsten ens hver dag og var ikke så spændende, men det var okay. Det ligger lidt langt fra byen på gåben, men det er muligt. Det er dog tæt på både station og sporvogn, som går lige udenfor og ind til byen. Der er ikke så meget spændende i området, og ligger ikke i selve Trastevere. Hovedpuderne er meget hårde og ret ubehagelige. Vi boede ud til gaden, hvor der er rimelig meget larm.

Eigentlich schönes Zimmer !!!

Es ist für Rom eine gute Unterkunft aber der Lautstärkepegel ist enorm. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung aber um cirka sechs Uhr geht im darunterliegenden Einkaufsmarkt der Betrieb und die Warenlieferung los. Die Vermieterin ist nett aber während des Tages wird mit italienischem Temperament und offenen Türen am Flur nicht viel Rücksicht auf die Gäste genommen. Rein zum Übernachten okay aber nicht wenn man tagsüber einmal eine Stunde am Zimmer verbringen möchte. Zum Frühstück nur abgepacktes suesses und eine Tasse Kaffee obwohl es gleich nebenan einen guten Bäcker gibt.

Quaint B&B in the heart of Trasteverre

We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. Daniela is a warm and helpful host who stayed in touch with us throughout our stay. She provided excellent advice for getting around Rome and the best way to see the sights. The room was small but clean - more than enough for two people. We felt at home here and would definitely recommend it if you want to stay away from the touristy area of central Rome.

Great location, even better service!

This hotel is in a great location! It is just outside the tram stop so you can just hop on and it takes you anywhere in the city! Daniela (the owner) was so great! She was so welcoming and pre-made us breakfast every night! The rooms were always clean and the wifi connection was always strong! I would stay here again

Apartment mit freundlichem Empfang

Freundliche Begrüßung im Apartment. Leider sind wir zuerst an einer falschen Adresse gewesen, da Google Maps eine andere Adresse anzeigt, sofern man den Namen des Apartments eingibt. Gibt man jedoch die Adresse ein, findet Google Maps unter der angegebenen Adresse keine Unterkunft. Mit dem Zimmer waren wir zufrieden, es war sehr sauber, was wohl an der täglichen Reinigung der Zimmer liegt, was für meine Verhältnisse nicht erforderlich ist. Was wir nicht wussten ist, dass das Apartment an einer viel befahrenen Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt, weshalb tagsüber sowie nachts ein enormer Lärmpegel gegeben ist. Da das Apartment nicht wie angegeben in der Innenstadt von Trastevere liegt, mussten wir täglich unnötige Kosten für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel billigen, was uns nicht sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr umfangreich, das trockene Zwieback haben wir nicht gegessen, sodass wir uns im nahe gelegenen Supermarkt mit Lebensmittel eindecken mussten.
