"The room was clean it was the hallways that had a strong odor my last night there I requested clean towels to shower I came in very late had been working all day all I wanted to do was take a long hot shower and the lady told me I’d have to wait until 6 am for clean towels after the first few days of being there I had accumulated trash I bagged it up with some shopping bags I had and noticed housekeeping does not clean your room during your stay so I took the trash down to the front desk and asked if I could get trash"

"We were there for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating to anything we needed."

"Staff was very friendly. Hotel was under renovation, which I wish I had known before I booked. I saw that there had been black mold on the walls where plastic was hung up to semi block off hallways. I’m assuming that was at least part of the reason for the renovations"

"I worked at this property years ago when Mr. Hammonds owned it, and to say it has gone downhill is an understatement. The biggest disappointment was that there was a Trading Card convention booked, not just in the ballroom, but in the atrium as well. They charge $17 per day to park but if you left during the day there was no parking to be had when you returned because of the convention, that there was no mention made of. I was told by "Alex" that a staff member would be in touch, never happened. Overall I would love to recommend this property as it has meaning to me on a personal level, but this trip was so bad I don't see that happening."
