The Peridot Retreat

Welcome to The Peridot Retreat. Adjacent to the Peridot by the Shore this space is nothing but exceptional. Relaxation and beauty awaits you upon your arrival. A tranquil setting with sitting room, queen bed and corner jacuzzi tub overlooking the harbour where you can watch the sunset over the ocean. There is a private deck to sit and breathe in the fresh air as you listen to the waves roll in to the shore. A great space for couples looking for that perfect getaway.
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

We enjoyed our stay here. Super clean and comfortable accommodation. Owner was attentive and provided excellent communication. Sunsets off the deck were a bonus. Great location just a short drive to hiking trails and walking distance to the Anchors Away show. Good restaurants are near by as well.

Great place, fantastic location, close to a number of good trails, good food options within walking distance. Great views off the back deck, if you just feel like spending the day in. Yvonne was a great host! I highly recommend the place.

Must stay while at Gros Morne

Perfect place for two people. Lots of space, clean, everything you need. Just get groceries on the way. Yvonne communicated well, and everything went exactly as planned. Would stay here again.

Rocky Harbour stay

Very clean, comfortable properly. Bed was very comfortable. Might have been improved however, with a small clock beside the bed and some shampoo for the shower. We enjoyed our stay. Loved being able to sit on the deck and stare out at the bay.

So clean and such a great little place to get cozy in. Watch the sunsets, walk for ice cream, seafood near by. Love the jacuzzi tub with a glass of wine and the sunset! Close drive to Gros morne! Would recommend this retreat

Lovely property

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The property is very conveniently located near Rocky Harbour, but in a quiet location. The view from the back porch is lovely. There is also a small market and fresh seafood store nearby. Yvonne was very easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions. Highly recommend!

Perfect location! Yvonne was super helpful in notifying us early to let us know that we needed to book tickets to Anchor's Aweigh early. So glad she told us! Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

There arent enough stars to rate this beautiful home! Yvonne spares no expense from throvely furnishjngs to the well appointed decor. Her communixation was immediate ans we hated to leave! Cant recommend this amazing hone enough and thr view from the back deck to die foe!!!!

Just Perfect

This property will check all your boxes. It was spotless….this is the cleanest house I have stayed in. It is on the Bay in quiet area It is central to some amazing hikes including Gros Morne Mountain It is close to a restaurant and convenience store and liquor store It is quite roomy for a couple and has a wonderful little deck to BBQ on We will come back for sure… Yvonne was an excellent and considerate host Thanks for sharing your house

Peridot Retreat

Such a lovely place and a perfect fit for us as a base for hiking in the Gros Morne NP area. We loved sitting on the back deck and enjoying the sunset after a day on the trails. We also enjoyed soaking in the tub while viewing the beautiful sunset. We loved that we could walk to all the restaurants and shops. Sometimes we could hear the people staying in the next unit. The place was clean and well equipped with dishes, etc., lots of towels, extra blankets. Comfy couch, easy access WiFi, laundry facilities in the unit. Right amount of space for the two of us.

Peridot Perfection

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Yvonne's retreat. It is a lovely place to rest and unwind after a long day of hiking around Gros Morne. We didn't get a chance to use the soaker tub, but it would have been amazing on any achy muscles! The kitchen is fully stocked, although we ended up trying a couple of restaurants instead, but we were grateful to be able to do a load of laundry. We kept some windows open at night to listen to the waves crashing against the shore at night and it was amazing. Thank you Yvonne and Rob!
