Stayed here twice....never again. DIRTY out front of lobby (outside), dirty lobby floor, looks like floor has not been mopped in a month. The entire place is badly in need of repair. DoubleTree by Hilton Durango
We had a really nice stay. It was great for dog owners, being on the path and next to the river. The river running by drowned out traffic noise. My only complaint was the bar/restaurant. The ambiance and staff were great, but the food was not great and overpriced.

Historic Strater Hotel
We loved our stay here. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The front desk staff were delightful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant had good food and drinks, great atmosphere with fun, lively staff and a great pianist! Easy walking to shops, restaurants and the ‘must not it miss’ - train depot.
