Oceanfront Getaway - Beach Access & Dog-Friendly

"Property was decent and comfortable for our needs. The space was clean and kitchen stocked for our cooking needs. The host was easy to get in touch with. We had issues with the lock code checking in and there was no cell service, but we were able to connect to their WiFi from outside the door (glad I took screenshots of the check in information before we lost cell service) to call them to help us get in using the lock code. Hot tub was great and easy access down the beach! Slightly bummed the deck is unfinished. Was comical looking at the stunning sunsets off the deck with caution tape. There is no dishwasher, but wasn’t much of an issue for us as it was just us 2 and easy to keep up with handwashing dishes. I do wish the bed in the primary suite was softer. It could benefit from a mattress topper for us folks who like softer beds. Plenty of towels provided! And there is a clothes washer and dryer to use on the garage. Overall nice property and cute neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!"

"It’s an older cottage but it’s on a cliff with the most amazing views!!! It was very clean. Bring dish soap and dish rags to wash dishes and wipe off counters. Dan was awesome on everything . Beach is so close. Maybe 5 minutes to the sand. Campground nearby never bothered us at all. No seaweed. Smooth beautiful sand. I saw lots of starfish at low tide. The last night my husband put the trash in the recycling can not the bear proof one. At 2:00 am my dogs were barking. Guess what! Two bears. I’m so glad my husband put them in the wrong can. They didn ’t stay long unfortunately. I will definitely go back!"

"The apartment was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and well appointed with everything needed. It was clean and fresh. It is a second story apartment with a tall flight of stairs with a rail on one side and a wall on the other. The first two steps have no rail and at the top, it requires a reach for a structure to balance. It would not be for us next time, but those of us who are able bodied would come here again in a split second. The management and owner were outstanding in understanding our dilemma and helped us greatly in finding a solution to our needs. A place to stay. Love the history of the property, too. Very near Glass Beach."

"This is a great place for families with kids and a pet!! It’s very spacious with both a living/dining room, and a family room. The couches are very comfortable and the large dinning table makes it nice for families to sit together! The kitchen is well equipped for preparing and cooking meals, and the bonus game room (in the converted garage) is a nice touch, especially for kids! There are also two separate washer/dryer sets that make it great for large families and longer term stays! The three bedrooms have comfortable beds, and the clean bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels. Small bottles of bath gel and shampoo are also supplied. One of the main highlights is the huge backyard with a tree swing, fire pit, deck and Hot Tub! Kids will have a great time running around the yard, and the fire pit was great for marshmallows and making s’mores! The location is great, 10 minute drive to downtown, a 5 minute drive to the beach, or 15-20 minute walk. There’s even a grocery store open until 8pm within a one minute walk! Parking is easy, right in front of the house and space for 2-3 cars. You can’t find more of a perfect house than this one! We highly recommend it!!"
