Prefect for family vacation

The property was easy to find and close to the beach. Property owner responded quickly to my messages. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing for relaxing after a long day of exploring around the coast. Cute and relaxing home, would highly recommend a

Convenient But Spartan

Pros: This house has a lot of potential. It has a lot of space, is conveniently located to Rockaway beach and strip, but feels very private. Loved all the wall art and themes throughout the house. Cons: smelled of dog, very spartan in furnishings (no bedside lamps, no end tables, no fans). This spartan approach was carried to everything else provided as well (don’t expect to feel a warm thoughtful touch or greeting here. This is not a home-away-from-home). We are a family of four and booked 8 nights and were provided 5 dish tabs (yet there were no dish cloths to manually wash them) bathroom towels were threadbare and minimal (expect to have to do LOTS of laundry if you are showering, but not much detergent provided), no extra bedding if you like it warmer than what is provided, and despite the listing saying there were kids’ toys/games, there were not. Hot tub was great, but didn’t seem cleaned prior to our use (lots of debris when we first opened it). Patio had furniture but it was all covered up (not very inviting). The keypad for entry to the property seems to be going out—we’d have to try the code numerous times before it would finally unlock, then it would get stuck in unlock mode and not lock at night (or unlock after you lock it or even get stuck in lock mode). Overall, this place was suitable and we enjoyed the stay (but has so much more potential if it had some TLC).

Great PNW getaway!

What an amazing place to stay!! Beautiful property and just a few minutes away from the beach and twin rocks! Hope to make it back to this property again!

Overall good.

Overall great! The bunk beds were a huge hit! The bigfoot and mermaid designs were cute. The privacy of the dead end street was great. The main bathroom towel rack and shower rack kept falling down, you can tell from the patches that this is an on going issue. The kitchen stove takes a very long time to heat up. Finally the hot tub only gets up to 104 dregees and was to us not very hot ever.

Peaceful place to stay!

The house is beautiful. Wonderfully updated and decorated. The surrounding trees and brush make it feel so private and peaceful, it’s a lovely place to stay. And the added bonus of a hot tub right in the middle of all the tree coverage, where you’re outside but fully enclosed was great. We really enjoyed the house a lot. I think our only issues were the shower curtain in the master falling off every time it was moved and the ice maker only making a few cubes per day. Not big problems or anything that would prevent us from staying again. Low cords from tv’s aren’t ideal with very young kids (fine for over 3-4, but I have a one year old who wanted to play with them!). And the only actual frustration for me personally was the mermaid pictures in the master bath. Some were beautiful, but some were essentially just topless women that my boys discovered and I had to keep them out of that bathroom because it felt a little inappropriate. Not a fan of that type of art with impressionable kids. Otherwise, a great property. Feels like a little oasis in the woods but right down the street from the ocean! Lots of fun, we’d definitely recommend it

Cute, clean rental near ocean.

We loved our stay! It was exceptionally clean, and well stocked with appliances and kitchenware. The house is beautifully decorated with a beach theme, and the beds and couch felt clean and comfortable. The spray hose out front was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach, which was a short drive away. The one thing I would note is that we thought a few of the mermaid pictures in the bathroom were inappropriate for children (of course our kids were the ones who noticed it).
