Beautiful and fun retreat!

"The cabin and grounds are beautiful. It is a truly private setting and is a perfect and peaceful retreat from life. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, the hot tub and time around the fire pit. We also enjoyed watching the deer, turtles and heron. The owner, Shan, was great about communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. She even left snacks for us which was a thoughtful touch and the cookies were delicious! This was one of our best stays through VRBO and we hope to make this cabin an annual destination for our family. We highly recommend!"

Very good for price

"It was great. I was worried about the jetted tub being super clean but it didnt appear dirty but you always wonder. Everything else was very clean. Only issue when we were trying to check out no one was to be found and we had to wait a while, and if you're out late, good luck getting parking on a busy night. But otherwise it was great. The bed was very comfortable. For the price can't beat it. Looks rough outside but in the rooms very nice. 3 food places just across the road, too. "

Birthday celebration

"We booked this beautiful lake house for my twins’ 17th birthday. It was amazing. The house was just as described. There was a storm that damaged the roof and had a tree down in the back, the owner was apologetic and said we could cancel. Absolutely not! The house was still housing and the lake still had water in it. We had a blast. We will definitely be back!"

Bright ‘Green Gables’ Cabin: Hike, Swim & BBQ

Perfect Hideaway

"The pond is so close to the front door we could watch the turtles scurry around in the water. The kids had such a good time just being kids and playing as loud as they wanted. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big family meals. Beds were comfy, the whole place was spotless. We were in heaven. Check-in was super easy, owner was very friendly and our communication was always friendly. We wished we had booked a longer trip!"

"Every about our stay was top notch! This was our 2nd stay here and I truly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when coming into town. After a long 8 hour drive, myself & my 85 year old mother were exhausted. And it's nice to feel like you have arrived at your 2nd home. Everything is clean and comfortable. Every detail has been carefully thought of to ensure you have a wonderful stay. We are so grateful that such a beautiful place is offered at such an affordable price. And the location is right where we need to be when we come into town. "
