There was mold all over the wall and carpet next to the head board. Very obvious outvin the open and we were still given this room. To make matters worse there were no hospitality staff to deal with this issue. We just left and stayed elsewhere so now we try to get a refund... we shall see

It was the absolute worst vacation i have ever been on. Im from Alabama and was visting for the first time. I couldnt wait to leave left early because the room was 77 degrees the ac was not working.

We stopped here in the way to Alabama cause my wife grew up in this place. Her family would come every weekend in the 90s early 2000s. The property has drastically changed. Half the hotel is closed and gone. The lights on the sign outside are mostly all out. The second floor casino is gone. This place used to be booming. There were more employees than customers on the casino floor. The slots are no where near loose. The staff was all incredible and friendly. The hotel room was clean and comfortable the AC worked well and it wasnt noisy at all.

The property is in terrible condition! Only half of the rooms are open bc of the bad conditions. It was like a ghost town. What staff? I was there 3 nights and our rooms were never clean and there’s mold! The only staff we saw was at the front desk or the restaurants. Want coffee? Good luck! The food was okay.. we spent most of the time at Goldstrike and horseshoe. The rates are good but you get what you pay for. My advice, spend a little more and go somewhere else

The room literally should have been taken out of service. Spider webs everywhere. The refrigerator had dirt and hair in it. The ac/heat unit was not working properly. The toilet was the worse!!! Stained, unclean, unsanitary! The toilet seat should have been changed expeditiously!!!

Food options are awful. Conwebs at entrance looks like Halloween. Reported hair in our room at night of check in, to be told that needed to be told to day shift. 😳😳😳

Positives: The staff was very friendly, the water was perfectly hot, and I appreciated that staff members are not allowed to enter occupied rooms. Negatives: The shower drain backed up despite being open, there was black and pink mold throughout the bathroom, heavy dirt in all corners of the bathroom, a hole in the bathroom door, stains on the walls and ice bucket (which appeared to be blood) in the bathroom, black mold in the toilet, animal hair and stains on the carpet, heavy dust in the back of the hair dryer (a fire hazard), peeling wallpaper (especially in the bathroom), a dim overhead light in the bathroom, a wobbly floor lamp, and broken shelves in the refrigerator.

Our room was damp feeling the whole time we was there the carpet felt wet to my bare feet and made them sting I had to wash and keep my shoes on..the bed was awful I felt like I was falling off the edge and when I tried to move toward the middle it felt like I was laying on a big hump the pillows were hard and uncomfortable the staff wasn't very friendly at all I was actually glad to leave

Room service did not come to the room and replace anything that was used like the coffee, since I am paying for it I expect it to be replaced daily. The toilet paper was so low upon arrival had to stretch it since there was no replacement rolls. The mattress was broke down along the edges like it had been sit on too often causing you to have to move more to the center of the bed so as to not feel like you were sliding off the bed. As for the casino drinks were almost non existent as the only waitress had plenty of time to shoot the breeze with the floor managers and other employees, but not checking on the guests. We spent all of our time and money at other hotels/casinos where the service was much better. There was also only one restaurant open so again I went to another casino. I will not stay there again.

The property was nice. Our room was good. Water pressure was amazing in the shower. It had a musty smell and was warm in the hallways. Staff was nice. Casino was just a basic casino. Nothing famcy.. Not very busy for a weekend. Was 45 minutes to Bass Pro in Memphis. 😀
