"We are locals and decided to enjoy our anniversary at the new hotel in town. Great experience. Lovely room, the whole property is artfully done. We enjoyed dessert and after dinner drinks at Esperanza (we had to go to BL Brasserie for dinner as that is our restaurant) and breakfast this morning at Pine Street Bistro. We had planned to check out and go to our usual local breakfast spot but were pleased to have stayed. The menu offers a reasonable variety of choices. We enjoyed the quiche and the breakfast burrito as well as excellent coffees prepared by Sabrina (who is a great ambassador for AVA). All in all it was an excellent variation on the staycation theme."

"It was fine. It took a long time for the water to get warm, we didnt even bother to try and take a shower. The toilet didnt flush correctly. The heater took a long time to heat up. The white towels in the bathroom all had set in stains. It was very difficult to figure out how to use the cable tv. (we have same set up spectrum and roku) finally had to call the rental agent. They need more details about how to use amenities. It was nice and quiet and clean for the most part. It was in a convenient location but not many restaurants around, luckily we brought food "
